I would go with @ lostandfound answer.

If I love him, I would be hurt that he only sees me as a sister. But if he is just a friend and we are close, I would be fine with it as long as it is not used excessively everytime lol. I would think it is nice that he thinks I am close enough for him to call me sis, but still, he respects me. I don't have a brother so my answer can be biased.

In general, I don't mind what people call me. They can call me whatever they like as long as it is not offensive.

But on a serious note we'd have to be really close like.. actually like brother and sister for you to call me sister. Best friends. You can call just about anybody your cousin though that's cool.

I guess it all depends on if i like the guy, personally. If i like him and he calls me his sister, i'm gonna be like "oh.. okay". And kind of feel a little down. But i think it's cool to know someone feels that close to you enough to call you bro/sis.

Yeah sure as long as I don't like him or see him as something more than well a sibling or a friend. I don't have any guy friends who I consider brothers but I have some close girl friends who I consider my sisters.

No. Don't call me your sister unless I'm actually your sister. in my opinion it's fine if you say something like "you're almost like a sister to me" but ACTUALLY going out of your way to call me sister or sis is just plain weird.

I could see how this could work on someone who doesn't actually have a brother, so they'd be more cool with having a "brother figure". But since I already have a brother, I don't feel the need to call random guys my "brothers" or having them call me their "sister". It's just weird to me, as I said.

but assume that you are in a relationship and there is a guy who isn't your boyfriend but he respects you and your bf so he can't see as girlfriend material but he likes your personality and feel close to you on the other hand you like his character too. he calls you sister or sis. i can't see any problem in this.
