I've noticed that when some guys give their opinion to a girl/woman they'll say something like "Honestly sis". I like when he called me sis, do you?

A guy was helping me out with a problem I was having and he called me sis. It made him sound comforting, concerned, and very caring.
I've seen this a couple of times. I don't do any social media except GaG. Is this popular on social media to call someone sis?

I'd never say sis to a woman, I guess I'm too old for that.

Calling you sis when someone knows that you like it is one thing. But unfortunately there are people out there that would get offended by it.

The three times someone has called me sis was on this website and they were from guys that I have interacted with quite a bit. They know about me - especially since I am pretty much an open book.
It would be kinda weird in person though unless my brother called me that.
