What does it mean when a guy calls you his "sister"?

This guy friend never directly calls me his sister, but to others he will explain that I'm like a sister to him. Does this mean he has no interest in me in that way, even though he flirts a lot?

Well my best friends girlfriend calls me her brother and I call her my sister just because we're really close and spend a lot of time together. She says that if she had a brother she'd want it to be me.

She's cool we have lot's of fun even by ourselves.

For example this summer we went on vacation with a couple of friends and she was a great wingwoman when we went out. She really helped me get a couple of nice dates when we went out.

But on my part I can honestly say there's no interest in her whatsoever and I'm sure there's no interest on her part.

But people are different so you it's tough saying anything with so little information.
