She asked me if I work out a lot.... what does that mean?

So I was getting into work and I was taking off my jacket. My shirt got pulled up a little bit and my co-worker got a little flash of skin from me. Right after that she gave me kind of a cute look and a smile and said: "Do you work out a lot?" I kind of looked at her and just shrugged.

What does this mean? Is she attracted to me?

Yes. She's attracted to you. First, she was watching you, and taking notice. If she was unattracted to you, she wouldn't have even "noticed" (looked up from what she was doing when you came in). If she was neither attracted nor unattracted (if you're just that guy at work), she wouldn't have bothered with such a personal comment (mentioning your bared stomach, when in polite society people generally do not bare their stomach or notice when someone else does). So when you add in the "cute look" and "smile", yeah...she's attracted to you. Now, if that's a wanna jump you and make mad love, or just think you're funny attracted...I dunno.

She doesn't really want to know if you work out. I'm assuming you're not fat. It would be a rude and dumb question if you are (if you're fat you obviously don't workout). And if you have a flat stomach, then obviously you are an active person (or you have a high metabolism...and unless she's a medical student she doesn't care about your metabolism).

So...why didn't she just say "wow you're hot," since that apparently would have been easier for you to interpret?...Cuz that would be really embarassing if you weren't attracted to her. How would you respond "um thanks...my girlfriend thinks so too...I'm sure there's a guy out there for you somewhere (but not me)...I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't stare at me because you're ugly and it gives me the creeps"?...so If she asks you if you work out...then you can either respond enthusistically like: well no, but I love sports, do you like sports?...bla bla bla conversation get to know each other...or you could respond unenthusiastically: kinda shrug. which would mean: not interested.

So let me summarize: she showed interest in you (made a positive comment on your appearance), and you told her that you're not interested in her (you shrugged)

I wouldn't say that to a guy unless I was so flustered, a little embarrassed and somewhat thrilled at the flash of a toned male body that I'd be so lost for words to say 'do you work out a lot'. Hahahah. Definitely attraction.

Well maybe but girls do say tat a lot depends on how you look. If Ur wearin a tight top nd you look big or ripped she could b just curious I wouldn say its a defo sign she is into but its a start.
