It is, and there are a lot of girls who do it while in college. My main concern would be though how it would affect you if you decide to ever get a real job, and I do recommend that because stripping is not something you can do forever, it will only last while you're young.

And it is hard for girls not to get hooked on drugs and possibly venture into prostitution or porn.

There are many girls who do it at night to pay for school. Nothing to be ashamed of if you do it right. They dance, get their capital, and go home.

Technically yes but at the same time it can be a gateway for women to get sucked into the shady sides of things.

Like some women can do it and leave the field no problem. But others get sucked into the prostitution and drug sides of things and then it isn't so honest anymore.

Depends on your definition of honest.

On one hand you're taking on a fake name and a new persona that is completely different than your actual self... On the other hand, like @ButtHoleSandwich mentioned, you're exposing your physical aspects completely.
