Wtf this random guy asked me for my socks?

This literally just happened like an hour ago as I was walking from Dunkin Donuts to my house. I was about 3 minutes away from my house and this white guy in an Audi pulled up along side of me and asked if he could buy the socks I had on. He opened up his wallet and said he'd pay me $20. I looked at him like he was nuts!! I told him he was crazy and felt safe because there was a older guy across the street observing. Then the guy pulls off after that. I'm not racist but this is why as a black woman I prefer black men. I always thought white guys were kinda weird and this really doesn't help. So what I want to know is why would he ask me this shit and what would ge get out of it? Smh.

He wanted to smell your feet. He has a foot fetish, and he believes that if he can pay money for your socks, it will some how complete him, fill a gap in his heart. Unfortunately he is wrong about that, and the fact you said he has an Audi, maybe he has money- makes things even worse for him, because money is like a false blanket of security, it can make people feel bigger than they are.

You could say, if it happens again (I doubt it will), "The smell of my feet isn't going to help you with your loneliness."
