+1 yYes I do. They have invaded the UK in vile numbers and they have brought nothing to the table. They are rude about our country, discourteous, selfish, think they deserve this and that, take our housing, hospital beds, jobs, legal services, educational places and think that they are here to do the jobs that we don't want to do. They are loud, aggressive and unruly. They make dirty comments about women and children and think that if they walk around in groups, we will be intimidated. I want them all to leave immediately. I can't stand the direction the country is going with these people flooding in daily. I've never had an issue with other cultures and races until all this started happening and I noticed that there were not here for the universal reason stated "a better life" but to drain and take away what we have created. They moan about life in their own lands but do nothing to change the system and then come here demanding this and that. They commit crimes in exorbitant numbers and many of those that come here "for a better life" is because they are criminals, murderers, rapists, pedophiles, arsonists, etc. I want them all out of my country.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yI'm a immigrant myself, so I can't hate people who are in the same situation as me.
Unfortunately, since my father made a shitty choice and the country where I was born is not good either, I'm forced to move again.
I know how it feels like to be an outsider. To have people constantly reminding you that you don't belong there. And if your skin color is different, things get even worse.
People immigrate for different reasons, but most times they're just looking for a better life. They just want to have the things they can't have in their homeland.
But of course, there are also the ones who immigrate to commit crimes. These people shouldn't be welcomed in any country.
At the same time, I understand why some people are against immigrants. I guess they think that immigrants are dangerous, that they're taking their jobs and lots of people are racist. It's an issue.
But that's just how things work.
As for you going to the US now, I would say it's not a good idea. It seems to me that Trump doesn't want immigrants in the USA. So, maybe you should wait 4 years (or 8) or study in another country.20 Reply
+1 yI honestly don't see a problem with immigration. It's rather obvious why most people move to the US, because we have more freedom. I would welcome anyone who is trying to leave a country that doesn't bring them as much freedom or happiness. I really don't understand why people throw such a hissy fit. I can kinda understand when people enter the US illegally. But hey! You gotta do what you gotta do when trying to make a better life for yourself.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yI only have a problem, even with americans. If the person or immigrant Is illegal, they think they deserve to be handed everything, they are disrespectful and hateful towards the US. Other than that I don't judge. I don't like the idea of people cussing me out in another language when I know they speak English. Like I said that's anyone for me tho not just immigrants.

Asker+1 ySi yo también creo que no deberían hacer eso.. Hahaha but yes, from what I've heard so far it really depends on the kind or person you are, if you're polite and respectful you'll be welcome everywhere, that's what've gather so far from the opinions
Opinion Owner+1 yYes :) that's exactly how most people feel :)
Opinion Owner+1 yThank you for mho :)
+1 yFIrst off im a German immigrant to Australia. I think Mr Trumps comments are misconstrued, there is a difference between wanting to enforce a legal border of a soverign nation, also deporting those who have broken the federal law of said country and stopping immigration all together. It was in the debates when he was talking about streamlining the immigration process but he wants to make sure that those who break the law have no advantage ocer those coming in through legal chanels. As for the anti-immigration stuff online that is just legit just from a bunch of edgy teens

Asker+1 yi understand, yet my concern is oriented towards what he projects rather than actual policies he will enforce, I do realize that some of his comments are more directed to a more secure border rather than just plain hate toward immigrants, and yet that does not stop some people from actively manifesting their hatred, and i wanted to have an idea on how people feel about it, and i am not so quick to dismiss "edgy teens" cause i might run into those edgy teens when i go to store or when i walk home, and i wouldn't want to move to a country where i don't feel safe, well i actually don't feel safe here in Chile sometimes hahaha

Your thinking too much into it. Your just as likely to get assaulted in america as any old Joe it dosent matter where you come from, as long as you are willing to fit in Americans will be fine
+1 yI don't have a problem with immigrants, so long as they don't suck.
That spplies to everyone, though; even citizens.
I only hate people that do something to deserve it. Some immigrants are the best people I know. Some citizens are the worst people I know.
Where they came from makes no difference, at all. I judge people on who they are, and how they act.20 Reply

As long as you are legal, nice, and work hard for what you get, welcome. Its always good to have more people like that here :)
I just don't like the ones who come here and expect us to take care of them. We struggle to take care of ourselves, let alone them. If our economy improves, maybe we can help more, but for now, we just need some good people willing to do their fair share.10 Reply
+1 ywhen it comes up to the United States and immigrants they only enjoy people not go through the process of becoming a citizen or a temporary says and the only people that Americans hate currently is the people that cross illegally that are here without papers, documents or what have you
10 Replywell initially i respect them a lot there sacrificing and leaving a lot behind them that requires great patience and strength but if they end up like terrorists then i'm sorry ik ur going through a tough time but no need to shoot people... sorry for being rude.

+1 yThe dislikement for immigrants is mostly based against lower class immigrants. If you have a quality education and focus hard to be a proper member of society and fluent in the language - then most people will respect you.
10 Reply 1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I live in the US and there are plenty of people that are open to immigrants here then again there are also people that don't welcome them. No worries tho no one is going to attack you or anything. the only people that express their hate are people online.
00 ReplyMost of the people in America are already immigrants. Wasn't it Native Americans that were there first? Lol

No no no, they were just squatting on land we had yet to civilize. The 7 Native Americans left are very grateful for our assistance.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yThe word "immigration" itself is something that's debatable.
To answer the question, I dislike the ones that give all the other immigrants a bad name; the small minority that ruin it for the majority.11 Reply

There's nothing wrong with someone wanting to move to your country. But it's when they send armies in the thousands and flood the country up.
Kinda like New Zealand with all the Asians.00 Reply
