I do. We all have some levels of tinea versicolor on our skin, and mine just happened to get out of hand somewhere in my mid 20's. So I have little tan spots under my armpits, back and stomach areas. The skin drys up and becomes really ashy and flaky at times. If I use lotion it hides it, but it makes the skin more oily, which contributes to the problem. I've tried topical anti fungals but there wasn't much luck with that. An anti fungal oral pill can cause more harm than good, particularly for internal organs. So I just deal with it. It's very common in young men who are athletic or have oily skin.

I've seen some guys get what would probably be ashy if their skin was darker. A guy I dated was just prone to really dry skin in the winter. But it is definitely less common.
