Eh. It was a setup, the U. S. was involved, and it was permission to go into war. Like many other happenings, it was agreed upon behind the scenes, and their golden ticket to get involved. As for the planes, I think they came from the west, and they flew east across the Pacific to get to Pearl Harbor.
Wake up america. We conspiracy theorists are right on some shit.
I have found a bit on it, but it doesn't seem like it was just an overeager subordinate.
On October 7, 1940, exactly fourteen months before the infamous attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, Lieutenant Commander Arthur H. McCollum penned a memorandum, recommending that the United States government provoke the Japanese into attacking America, and thus, allowing America to enter WWII with the American people fully behind the decision. The memorandum is called theMcCollum memo, and there is little mention of it in history textbooks.
But the intentions were there, although I could not find anything confirming they put the memo into effect. But, a memo means written message, and they told and confirmed this to the American public. A memo would not be announced nationwide if they had no intention of putting it into effect. That is what confuses me.
Of course they didn't fly that distance- both Hawaii and and Japan are in the northern hemisphere, so the great circle route is over the North Pole! Silly conspiracy theorists!
"Planes weren't able to fly that far" well nobody thought a bomb the size of hiroshima was possible either back then. Guess what?
If this is a troll then it's about a 3/8 which is pretty good.
If this isn't then go see a shrink asap.
It takes a special kind of idiot to think that the Japanese would fly three quarters of the way around the entire earth to attack instead of just simply flying east.
Obvouslly they flew east from Japan not west.
I assume this is trolling but hey... The earth is pretty much round.

Not "C" for Certain but do Know...9/11was an Inside One, hun. xx
Pearl Harbour was in 41, not 31
plus that flight path is wrong with Japan having a more direct route
This smells of conspiracy theory bullshit! Japan had one of the strongest navies in the world. They could've definitely carried out the attack from that distance... and they did. There was a lot of preparation and intelligence.
Lmao. I love how they took such a long detour according to the map.
Who is he? PM me his username
@Asker If I run into him again I will.
What are aircraft carriers?
What is the Pacific fleet?
I'm sure there are people out there actually believing this...
#SadWorld
Someone is going to take this seriously, I guarantee it.
Of course it was. So was 9/11 and half of the other "attacks" on USA
How to be an idiotic moron 101
There is a shorter way, flying over the Pacific.
No shit Sherlock
Yes, my little Grasshopper.
OH my a flat Earther!
It's obviously a joke. Do you have an extra chromosome or something?
I don't think so, but 9/11 was.
I hope that tweet is a joke
First of all, Pearl Harbor was attacked in 1941.
