Male Privilege Vs Female Privilege?

It seem's many men and women argue about male privilege or female privilege.
Many women/Feminist will say Males are more privileged.
Many Men say that women have more privileges.

There are also nuanced positions where some people believe both male and females have their privileges and disadvantages and they are about equally as privileged and disadvantaged but their disadvantages and privileges are just different from each other.

What are your thoughts?

My first thoughts are you gave quite a biased view of male and female issues. Not surprising considering you're male and I find dudes generally only think of themselves and often play Oppression Olympics of 'men have it oh so hard' and 'men have it oh so much harder'.

My next thoughts are both genders have privileges and drawbacks. Neither greater or lesser than the other. I imagine shit ton of dudes may downvote this because it doesn't portray men as the forevermore victims and gals as having little to complain about. I don't get that logic though. If guys who had been in a position of power can have several issues I don't see what's so hard to grasp that gals who pretty much historically only recently got equal rights also have issues.

Tbh I'm tired of this constant bitching about who has it worst. We're all human beings and we all have it bad, some more so than others. By constantly whining instead of doing something about it, you're not making anything better.

Also, why would I, as a woman, know what's going on in a man's life? I'm a woman. I can relate to other women only when it comes to gender issues. Unless men bring these issues up to me, there's not much I can do to support it. And I sure as hell am not going to support some mouth-foaming MRA who gets triggered every time something about women's rights gets mentioned.

I think white privilege is different because it's pretty blatant that white people are still mostly in power. But so called "male privilege" is stupid because female privilege also exists in several cases.

Men don't fear getting raped walking from the bar to their car every night. They aren't shamed for how they dress and told they were raped because they wore a short dress. Men are never "asking for it" when they're assaulted. So I'd say women are disadvantaged more then men.

No, men fear getting mugged and killed on there way home from the bar. They also fear the fight that there drunk girlfriend started for him to finish...

We are shamed just as much for how we dress, if I walked around with my ass hanging out, or my balls poking out of my shorts, then people might have some opinions on that.

Men aren't asking to be assaulted, but often we "deserve it". For instance when a woman hits her boyfriend, it is because he did something so shitty that he deserved it. Nevermind that noone deserves to be hit. Also if we are assaulted it's ok because we are bigger and stronger. If I hit a man that was bigger and stronger than me I would get my ass kicked. But I would deserve that right? lol.

Both sexes have things that suck about being that sex. Male and Female privileges exist. My problem is that so many women these days seem so eager to dismiss the problems of men, but they want us to take their problems seriously. It's not a pissing match.

female privilege is real. men get shafted in a lot of legal matters when going up against females.
