The difference between feminists and MGTOW, especially when it comes down to "triggering" them, relies heavily on the fact that feminists want your submission for their own advantage. Therefore whenever you refuse, don't listen, joke, troll, expose their lies etc., they get "triggered" as things don't go the way they want to.
MGTOW, on the other hand, simply don't give a shit what others think, as they don't need anything from others; they just go their own way. Thus "triggering" a MGTOW theoretically should be impossible, unless a person is simply mentally unstable to begin with and has been unstable even before adopting the concept of MGTOW.
quite Some MGTOW however behave exactly like the extreme feminists do and get triggered and freak out over normal and simple things. They are also the same, who want our (mens) submission to MGTOW or to join them or to act like women don't exist or are dangerous but inferior second class citizens.
Yes, true and rational MGTOW don't care what others think and won't get triggered and won't really act on baity questions like this one for example (and that's where i respect them) but some self proclaimed MGTOW feel the need to leap onto any women-loving men and to call them a white knight. It happened to me.

There can't be "extreme" ones, unless it's a mentally unstable person that has been mentally unstable even before adopting the ideology, as it's not a core concept of an ideology; Core concept is going your own way, ie dismissing what others want of you, think of you etc. and focusing solely on yourself.
