As far as girl thinking guys only want sex well its cause women only look for that and cause most guys have a higher sex drive we walk into their mental trap.
Most women have sex once a month or just get turned on during thier period. Other than that no sex drive.
Most guys on the other hand feel the urge once a week generally so guys usually want it 3 times as much.
Also to many girls just want sexual attention and a close relationship but never give the guy anything.
Cause guys want things that the girl does not she hates on him for wanting things when she is happy being a constant friend who uses him for attention.
They do have some points (such as the whole men getting wringed out in divorce settlements) but in general I would stay away from MGTOW. The problem I have noticed with a lot of MGTOW men are that they are massive hypocrites (no different from feminists)

Well you have male friends, you can do hook ups, you can find an friends with benefits, etc... I guess this is another good point - a lot of MGTOW people are self-deprecating. They complain about women but don't realize that there are a ton of other options that don't involve the risks of marriage or long term relationships...

I concur. I feel I'm better off from women because I don't want to subject myself to standing trial to prove I'm something I never was. I don't see why the right to call all men pigs and all men accepting it is so important, but that's your thing, it empowers you and you'll have your men.

They have some valid points (marriages aren't very beneficial to men, divorces GROSSLY favor women, alimony and child support in their current state are bullshit, and child visitation is a joke that only allows dads to see their kids 4 days per month).
They also point out a lot of societal double standards between men and women.
However they get so overwhelmed with fear and anger that they grow to violently and viciously hate all women. They have become the toxic, mirror-image counterpart of the neo-feminists.
Don't get me wrong, there are some absolutely, horribly shitty women in the world. But there are also shitty men. And many of the women I know personally are very sweet, caring, hardworking, loyal, smart, just all-around wonderful people.
Extremist MGTOW would deny the existence of these wonderful women, and they truly believe any human with a vagina is a selfish, hateful, demonic creature.
Guys do the same thing to women but I do understand what you mean. I currently have 0 interest in sex and no interest in a shallow ass relationship I want a meaningful one that is serious. I would gladly put effort into someone who would judge me as a person not on my gender.
I asked it like that to show you what it looks like from my point of view. As a girl you don't really have to put yourself out there to be rejected in order to date, I hear plenty of times girls try asking out a guy, get rejected and say "I'll never ask a guy out again" but guys still ask them out. That doesn't happen for guys. If a girl does ask me out, I would consider dating her, but the chances of that happening are extremely low.
