In my experience, I’ve been body shamed by bigger girls who are jealous of me and tell me that I have “skinny privilege”. I run every day, play sports, and have an insanely healthy diet. Meanwhile, these are some of the laziest girls I’ve ever met and they’re telling me that being skinny is a privilege.
There's a lot of pressure, but I don't feel it's excessive. We honestly shouldn't have to be pushing the idea of being healthy so much, it should be something these women want to be already, but nope, you got obese women who are 200-400+ lbs crying about how they don't get men even though they're so hot and "curvy".
Yes, I remember always finding something to obsess about my face or body, no matter what I fix, I always find something else that's not deemed "desirable" It's a lose lose battle, you can't win You just have to figure out that it's not worth it, there is nothing more liberating than being you
I thinks times are changing and body positivity is getting better however when I see someone complain about a girls tummy, I get mad. We (no matter how skinny) have a bit of extra fat on our stomachs to protect our ovaries and so it creates a bubble effect when a woman is skinny and not necessarily very toned. It’s natural and when I’ve heard a guy call out rude things about us having big guts, it irritates me slightly. But times are getting better for both genders and that’s great!
Nope, it's all in their heads. Many women I know who say that say it all while shoving a whole pizza down her mouth, she has a man and a child friends who don't hate her and a job. She is just saying that because she wishes more women would join her in not giving a shit.
Unfortunately, there's too much pressure on everyone to look a certain way. Recently I've been feeling especially down about my weight, so I've looked up bmi charts and things like that, but found that nearly all of them were suggesting seriously low weights for both genders. Weights that a medical professional would tell you was far below average. Men are expected to have muscles and strength. Women are expected to have nice figures and big boobs/butts.
It's not the media lol men like healthy woman, and a healthy women doesn't have rolls of fat around her. I am 6'2 and 150 pounds so if a girl is shorter than me and weighs more than that, it's gunna be pretty hard to feel like the big one, which is what all men want to feel like around their woman. Fat acceptance is disease acceptance, being fat is unhealthy, being too skinny is bad too but it's easier for a skinny person to put on weight than a fat person to lose it. There's honestly a really simple way to avoid getting fat and I'll share it with you all!!!
DON'T EAT SUGAR!!! DO NOT CONSUME SUGAR OR ASPARTAME!!! Drink lots of water and get lot's of VIGOROUS exercise if you don't feel like puking and shitting all at once sometimes during your workout routine YOU ARE TRASH!!! Everyone needs an inner drill sergeant... or a pt BUT WHO CAN AFFORD THAT AHHA

When I see a guy that looks better then me, even if it’s unrealistic, I find it as inspiration to become a better version of myself. All these models are both genetically gifted, they diet and work out. If some women don’t want to do that, that’s fine, but I think it’s stupid to normalize obesity, which is really unhealthy. Also these models are picked for they’re beauty. They’re job is to be beautiful, so no I don’t think it’s fair to take the job away from these models, just because some woman wants to eat pizza and ice cream all day, then expect to marry a rich beautiful man. Sry for the rant. Cheers
Yes, almost every woman I know is either talking about the latest fad diet, on a diet, or telling others what to eat or not to eat. Some are even more extreme and will tell you if they think you look good and whether you've lost or gained weight since they've last seen you (which is sometimes last week). It's exhausting being around them.
there's pressure for both females and males and its thrown around everywhere these days, it's more of seeing pictures everywhere of the ideal body but these days you starts to see various body types so I guess it's starting too loosen, depends on how each person sees it themselves tho :)
There was a long time ago, but now I say they're trying to level it out these days by presenting all different body types. But it's still obvious which body type America/media pushes to be the hottest body: legionathletics.com/.../...speed.ce.06PkOPradZ.jpg
It might be something to do with the fact that someone who is fit and healthy and takes care of themselves is more attractive then someone is unhealthy and doesn't take care of themselves.
But at the same time the flip is becoming a problem. The large woman "pride". I'm sorry it's not a matter of looks, it's a matter of health. Do not be "proud" of being obese and unhealthy. If your overweight but not unhealthily so, then by all means do your thing. Because the pressure to be thin goes too far as well and is often unhealthy in itself. It would be great if there was social pressure to take care of oneself. Not look a certain way.
There used to be. Now they've gone the equally destructive route and put too little pressure to even be healthy, let alone perfect. I live in a country where 3 out of 4 people are overweight and 1 out of 3 people are obese. There evidently isn't too much pressure over here on women to stay healthy - the same goes for the men.
Its beauty standarts.. even from middle age. If a woman is beautiful she is sucessful. Nowadays is the same... if you look good you can get a better job, a richer guy and so on. Although I do not think it should be paid so much attention on how many kg you have but just how neat and clean you are. Yes I still think there is some unconscious pressure to every girl.
1 males and females have a "market value" to each other
2 this value is set by biology, environmental pressure, and competition
3 much of this pressure is applied by women to women, or by a company who is making money which in turn boils down to women buying because they allowed the pressure to force their actions
Keeping in reasonably good shape is important, not just for looks, but for health. By reasonably good shape, I mean keeping muscle tone good, not getting too much over weight, etc. Being healthy, and being active to feel good is much more important than for looks.
I'm not here to judge but I think standards have changed for good for women now days most of us don't like all skiny but a bit thicc and bit bigger ass is great, but sometimes there is that if she is just too fat. I really can't say more about pressure because I'm not girl. I read some forum's and girls were like "I saw his dick and it was under 5 inches not seeing him again hahah" guess what bitch you can workout stop laying on bed and eating chips but what can guy do about it.. nothig. Not really a problem for me but just by reading some forum's I feel bad..
there's pressure on everyone to be spineless drones, takes different form but its all about having little to no personality or dignity. some people are slaves to this others fight to be human. its not about gender. perfection is the absence of life. living things evolve. perfection is static.
Being gat is unhealthy and can lead to serious issues. This can also lead to waste of recources to help those people. I get that some people have disorders and can't exactly help it, but lazy people need to get off their arses and go for a walk a day at the very least.

"Skinny is a privilege."😂

The amount of men triggered by this question 🤣🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣
😂😂😂
Because it was a must for a girl to at least make the body not bulky, or fatty. Just ideal
Men are supposed to be tall, muscular, broad-shouldered. Women are just supposed to be not fat. How is there lots of pressure on girls?
@Skinny_Guy
🤣🤣🤣🤣 you clearly don't know anything beyond internet trolls
