What do you think about Scotland?

I'm Scottish and I have lived in Scotland for my entire life and I hate it. I don't know where to start... The weather, unfriendly people, high crime, filthy atmosphere etc.

But to be fair, it depends on where you are. The West Coast, the Highlands, Edinburgh and most small coastal towns are beautiful to visit. I live in Glasgow (biggest city in the country) which is just an ugly, dirty, crime-ridden, unfriendly and pretentious shithole.

I found it a little astonishing when outsiders claim they love Scotland and want to visit or even live there, while I'd do anything to move out of here to the USA or some other European country. Life is miserable for me in Scotland. I've travelled a lot and everywhere else seems better than Scotland.

I live here so I’m gunna tyoe how much the weather is shitty almost all year round.. I love Inverness tho some parts are a peninsula and can get really warm in the summer and air is cleaner than the busier Glasgow n edinburgh

Some places there are really nice. It's hard to understand them sometimes, I can't understand my dad sometimes 😂 Worst place I've been in Scotland was Kilmarnock, it reminded me of shameless.

Lovely, spent a week around the Dundee, St Andrews etc area... middle of the summer and not a cloud in the sky but one of the coldest places, in the world lol. Other than that though lovely people, friendly pubs and interesting food choices lol, loved it!

I love going up to Scotland when I get the chance. Once I get past Manchester, England, into the Lake District the drive really becomes a pleasant one. Scotland has some great cities and some amazing scenery.
