When i saw a pic this superfluous stud dan bilzerian posted, with several naked girls in a pool, and a girl bending over to be his table to snack on, i was SO pissed off. and whats worse and more sarcastic he wrote on the description "its worldwide women's day today". thats what we have ended up being? the table of some paranoic stud? where are the rocket scientists? the philosophers? the doctors without borders? women to look up to? with our supposed liberation we ended up degrading to just more easily consumable meat to live a supposedely easy (but actually extremely empty) life.

what i'm saying is any woman identifying as a feminist today in the west is a moron. we can vote now and have euqal pay and education. the rest are just divide and conquer stuff to create hatred among the genders and turn us into dumb sluts. its not liberation to be a wasted soul scattered upon dozens of guys for some validation. and having no true dreams and goals in life other than being a leech for rich guys. i see these girls and i cry literally.

I disagree with some not all of the stuff being said here but I think feminism is more about having the power to make the same decisions as well as have the same opportunities that men do. I don't think the asker is feminist and I also don't think feminism now can be fully compared to feminism of the past. Especially if we are talking about birth control, education, work, voting, marriage, and family. A lifetime ago this was still unavailable to many women. As well as the ability to be free sexually. Women also still don't get equal pay. So to say feminism has fucked us and to stop pushing the limits and backtracking now is pretty stupid. Let's be real in Saudi Arabia women are just being able to drive this year. Thats a big hoorah! But back to the western world and sexual freedom and its attachment to feminism is still a grey area. We now have slut walks and women willing to pose nude or nude-ish to make a statement about having control over her body and women saying that engaging in "promiscuity" is sexually liberating and freeing. I think this is feminism. Men can still talk openly about sexual partners and still be praised in society. Men are also taught to be sexually aggressive and open. In misogynistic areas of the world men can have multiple wives. Why can't women have the same or engage consensually and sexually however they want to. If men were posing in that position with a women making those statements, would you have a comment about feminism then. If someone women choose traditional roles and values that's okay but if some women rebel against those roles that is equally okay. It's about not being limited and held to expectations of your gender.

No, its about allowing the women who don't want to fit those traditional roles to be and do something else. I'm not sure when the government started issuing hormones to make women grow a penises. I don't see any women turning to men unless they re transgender and do it to themselves. Anyway, if you don't support feminism and like the traditional roles that's good for you. But other women might want something more than being a mother and a house wife. Some women might want more than to put their lives on the back burner for a man. Some women are independent and would rather rely on themselves than have a man be responsible for their well being and finances. Some women are also doctors, lawyers, singers. But thanks to the lack of feminism we have yet to see a female president. Some women work the same careers as men and still maintain the traditional structure. Some women are astronauts. If it wasn't for feminism women would not have been able to accomplish much except staying at home

this kind of shit happened before any kind of women's liberation. We do actually have women in all of those roles today, sure they're not broadcasted in the same way but neither are male scientists. Even then those models are paid, in their own way they're trying to be entrepreneurial.

The situation you describe doesn't really sound as feminism to me. These women aren't forced to do it right.. so it is their choice. They get attracted to the certain kind of men that would post that kind of pics. And the girls in it are not complaining i guess.. There are a lot of women doing, let call it "more useful" things with their lives, with good education and jobs. These are just not so interesting to share or they are not interested in sharing their lives (after all, they are busy with their jobs, not looking good on social media) so you will not see those as much.. just an example of "the bad fuck it up for the good".

I have been on university campuses for almost 7 years now and one thing I have noticed is that there are more women than men getting educated nowadays. It might seem great that women are getting educated but the problem is that these women tend to never date below their education level and now there is a legitimate shortage of men they consider marriageable. Just ask any woman 30+ who has an education how hard it is to find a comparably educated man. Near impossible.

Moreover, I'm reasonably attractive but FAR from model status and yet at my age I can have almost any woman (who is single and my age or above) I want, and really it's only because of my educational status.

I think this is a perfect example of how feminism has failed women.

One more thing, a study was done looking into reasons women were freezing eggs. The #1 reason (by far) was that they simply could not find educated men to have kids with.

Unfortunately taking a multi year break to bond with your babies is a bad career move and ignoring them is a bad emotional one.

So a lot of women end up sad because of the demands of modern life. I think the new two income norm also devalues men.

It's not really feminism but the social shift towards women *having* to work to meet a dual income demand that is killing the idea of romance.

You and your spouse have morning and night together, and on the weekends the father can spend some time with his kid. I make the national average wage and we're just barely scraping by. Wages keep dropping and housing keeps going up. Not really sure what to do about it. It seems like they are trying to force couples to both work and have kids late/never.
