If you are not my parent when you do this, prepare to have a nightmare. I have no problems killing a person. One randomer means NOTHING to me. Kill a kitten or kill a person that just tried to hit me? It is that random person.
And I remember my dads story. He was going to school back when it was normal for teachers to hit kids. That one evil teacher hit the smallest guy in classroom because his shoe was untied. They beat the living shit out of that teacher after the class. So beware who you mess with and who you want to corporaly punish.
I certainly think it is unacceptable. We, human beings, have evolved a lot, and we are in the age of civilization. I feel that any sort of physical violence or inflicting any kind of harm on one another is just plain barbaric. You won't catch an intelligent and wise person endorsing violence.
It is unacceptable however I do agree it should be there for particular criminals, such as peodiphiles and rapists. X
I do t think children should be physically disciplined by anyone but their parents

No, absolutely not. It only does harm to the child and is never justifiable (unless you want to give them emotional problems, but why would you...). Communication, communication, communication.. the child needs understand what they did was wrong and why it was wrong and it needs to be explained calmly at their level so it sinks in. Punishment? Alone time, being grounded, no tv, no video games for a certain time etc.
It's acceptable and should be encouraged if it's applied properly.
10 lashes for dropping a glass by mistake is obviously excessive and doesn't fit the "crime".
10 lashes because you threw a tantrum... and that glass against a wall is perfectly fine.
I find people who are against it, have it wrongly applied to them by their bad parents.
Hell NO. You can't teach kids how to learn through fear & a person how beats kids for a living has to be more likely to abuse that power & beat them for no reason or do worse things. I thought countries were doing away with things like this. Teaching people from a young age that using violence in the day to day is okay.
If a teacher hit my kid first off I'd expect them to hit back and secondly I'd give them a good hit myself.
Unless my kid was attacking someone else in which the fault would obviously be his or hers then I see no reason for a teacher to have to hit my child.
It's not acceptable, but I wonder if they should reintroduce it in high schools after the absolute shit I have had through my education life. They don't want too learn and then ruin it for those that do.
If you want to raise peaceful people with violence you can try that But i think that won't Work.
And There are also many methods of raising someone without hitting him
Beating children doesn’t make them any more likely to behave. It just destroys their trust in you.
When corporal punishment got banned in my country. School violence and crime in general increased significantly the following years. Students threatening or even attacking teachers is quite the norm now.
No, good thing my country was the first to ban this shit.
Which country r you from?
I just checked we weren't first... But we were first to ban hitting children at home at least... it Seems that Poland was ahead of us with like 200 years on the school stuff... Damn them...
It's not justifiable. It is a disgrace to the humanity.
Those who do this sud be shameful of theirselves and locked behind bars
Unacceptable in any circumstance.
It helps for them to learn
Completely unacceptable.
No it's not acceptable
completely unacceptable
If an employee acts out badly, simply fire them.
