Maybe go read about Marxism, the plan to take the long March through the institutions, and to destroy the family unit to make people dependant on the government. Then tell me if you notice that it has a lot in common with third wave feminism.
It's just bullshit, men and women are biologically different. It's ok to have babies and want to spend time with them. You can actually marry a reliable man, raise kids, work part time and by have a happy satisfying. The amount of conflicted women out there that are missing out on their womenhood is a real tragedy. Working full time is usually fucking horrible, and a nessesity men bear with to support their families out of love. Why would you willingly want to live that? Being a housewife is awesome, I'd trade places in a heartbeat.
Forcing both partners to work just leads to more government dependence and kids with mental health problems.
Sure and they are already happening and have been happening for a long time (much more in western societies). It's a slow change so I get people getting frustrated over it , men and women, but it's happening and it's good to keep the conversation going.

We've seen what happens when cultures that prioritize gender equality invite people over who have no intention of respecting those customs. In my opinion backwards people can retain their ways, ruining their economy by keeping half their labour force in the kitchen. As long as they don't immigrate to influence more advanced societies.
Before asking questions like this , make your research first. Womens in western culture countries , have more rights then mens have. You equality , give us more rights and you go to war and work in mines. I can stay ar home and raise the kids and cook and have a part-time job as well.
It's a powerful question sweetheart but if society attempts to change every cultural variable and mores there will be serious consequences as those cultures will rebel violently against the noted society. Too dangerous frankly.
Continuous education of equality and equity is the most sane and productive approach to reformed variables and mores.
Share your thoughts. I'm interested. My name is Roger.
The US has seen enough "equality" to choke a donkey. If you're talking about basic rights like driving and voting then it would be ideal for countries to culturally change to give those things. However, since I am not a citizen of those countries, I have no reason to be an activist. I am too busy working full time to pay my damn bills to try to worry about reforming another nation's culture.
I wouldn't pay much attention to such biased documentaries.
They're like history of a war. Tales through the eyes of the victorious.
This is something being able to speak multiple languages teaches you.
Watch an Eastern documentary, they lambast the West.
Watch a Western documentary, they do the same against the rest of the world.
Both be highly exaggerated, out of context and generally full of inaccuracies, misunderstandings and mistruths.

What kind of cultrual change? I think different cultures are good and necessary... It's sad that we need to ask these questions because people can't accept others for who they are... So we have to revert to trying to think we should be all one culture... But something does need to be done because we aren't evolved enough to accept each other.
Why interfere is my point. We seem to be the police of the world... We can't force anything, they need to be educated and they can make those changes as they see fit.
Gender roles exist for a reason and a lot of it has nothing to do with the history of patriarchy. Men and women just naturally think differently because of different structured brains, it's not that men or women are smarter than one another it's just that they naturally fulfill different roles.
Culture is a reaction to what happens in the natural habitat of an ethnic group, if there are inequalities it means it has been or still is a survival mechanism for that people, or simply because it secures their welfare. I am willing to accept inequalities if that means my children will get a better life than I have had.
Eliminate men and you have it. Trans them, drug them as boys, feminize them, wipe them off the earth. We are all equal when in a big pile of bones. Vaginize the earth.
First you would have to destroy all religion as religion dictates basic fundamentals of a lot of societies, next you would have to remove currency, as there is no true equality if one has more that the other, and finally you would have to remove the family unit, as parenting roles differ so much they could never be equals.
You should accept that some cultures like to oppress women and other minority groups, don't be such a bigot
Which society? Which culture? There is not just one of either. Your question is vague and confusing without more specific information about what exactly is the question.
Also you make a statement that you presume is true- that gender inequality exists and therefore needs to end, which is not, in my opinion a given. You need to first make a case for why this is an issue that needs to be resolved.
Equal opportunity does not guarantee equal outcomes
You guys have got to start to get your shot together, it's pathetic how you try to intellectualise every aspect of your existence. Start with being good to one another.
It depends on the differences & how you remedy them.
Is this gender equality as in equality of value or equality of function? Because whether you like it or not men and women are not equals men can do things that women can't do and vice versa and there's a reason for that
Perhaps your should explain your perception of gender inequality, and in which country.
History has shown that interference in other cultures just causes conflict.
Fuck no. Why should a majority of people be expected to change for a small minority that merely wants to make their own little mark on the world?
Discussion is always good.
This whole post just irritates me.
Women don't want true equality and no I don't
Release yourself from Culture.
It would change gradually for itself
I really dont know
Interesting...
