I’ve thought about this before and even experienced forms of it but I always came to the conclusion that it would not be as blissful at it may seem, in the long term.


I think segregation would be inevitable if we go with this; and segregation hi-fives a gulf of misunderstanding and misrepresentations of both sides. I reckon it’d lead to some people putting the opposite gender on a pedestal and leave the rest utterly clueless as to how to interact with them.

Ah I thought it was fantastic when I was in an all-girls school and society, back when I pretty much never saw or interacted with a male ever really. But the second I wanted to “spread my wings” so to speak, I realised I’d have to branch out and… it was daunting business! It was genuinely like men were another species - so different to what I was used to. And that came with its own challenges.

You’re right in that the segregation is happening now, I’d know lol but I put it in that tense because I was getting at the wider, bigger implications if this was the only way things were with no exceptions. So kind of an absolute disaster scenario across the world…
