Look they can classify with whatever they want to, that's up to them and frankly I don't care and it doesn't bother me, and it is their right. But purely speaking there are only 2 sex types, male and female. Some law, new discovered scientific theory or a person's view doesn't change that. We did not manufacture ourselves, if we did we would be having a totally different discussion bc everybody would choose, change, alter their sex type to their liking n then we would have more than 2 sexes. But since we didn't create ourselves therefore it wasn't up to us just like how we look, how many children we will have, if your first kid would be a boy or girl n do many other things. As far as humanity has existed n known, there have only been 2 sexes, everything derives from that model, prove me wrong bc u can't... intersex is still a composition of male n female.
The word 'gender' causes confusion bc it's deceptive n divisive and we all the communities n groups pushing it so determined to change facts to satiate their desires, whims, n fancies... dishonest agenda. Many wanna conflate 'gender' with 'sex type'. Either distinguish the 2 things if u wanna go there or just acknowledge the basic, universal, unquestionable truth of just there being only 2 sexes. I am only asking what intersex people get to define themselves as in a legal and societal sense.
They can identify with whatever they like bc it's their right to pick, but the choices they pick come from male and female. The law, society, and pseudo science doesn't define it or change the fact. My morals say I don't have to make that person pick an identity and live with it if it's not who they are.
So, a legally recognized (non-male, non-female) identifier for daily life, forms, etc. seems perfectly fine. It doesn't hurt you or me either way, but it HELPS them, so why do I have to be binary about it?
We are gonna run in circles with this topic. Let's just agree to disagree. I am not gonna hurt a so called "non binary" person if the law is already working on earning them rights whether I disagree with you shouldn't bother you bc in America we can do that without being excoriated or needing to be belligerent or excommunicated from the country or society, isn't that how the LBTQ+ segment got this far in its quest for equality? In addition, what is morally correct will never be in complete harmony with what is legally right bc it has too many interpretations (law), it's man made and as you know man errs. If it were like that, then slavery of blacks would be present today. It was legal to own slaves at one point in America, but was it morally correct or egregiously reprehensible? No one will be treated perfectly, we can strive for it though and I think that is the point you are attempting to make.
However striving for the best doesn't mean you change what has always been proven correct and in place that works (like there are 2 sexes or blacks are human and equal to whites). If we all become one sex or things we are not, then how will mankind reproduce and continue life? Checks and balances are needed too by the way. For ex: why cause unnecessary havoc like the issues with public restrooms in some states. That's just causing trouble under a pretense of fighting for rights when you want a complete makeover and takeover of a larger society that doesn't agree with your world view n not because they don't like you, but bc it just isn't right. We can discuss things, but we have to be reasonable in ideas and demands (facts, weigh pros n cons, observe etiquette of differences). LGBTQ has won a lot of rights over the years, but they aim for a revolution that's both unrealistic n without any basis lol.
When they don't get what they want, they become hostile and liken it to the civil rights people defending themselves during that era "the struggle"... what non sense, n how insulting. @nah999 Well, in a sense, no, no one HAS to agree. But we may HAVE to make changes in some ways we do things legally to protect these people's civil rights. In which case, Americans, and people in other countries who adopt new guidelines such as Germany, will have to find a way to make it possible. And I am not even talking about transpeople here, who actually are a sex and a gender in the binary. Just people who canno fairly be defined as either male or female. It doesn't hurt you or me for these people to have a way of being included in government forms, census data, statistics about violence, health, well-being. They simply do exist, in numbers we don't really know, because we refuse to give them something they can call themselves.
I just don't see any Earthly or Godly reason to be so uptight about a binary notion of sex. yes, sex is mostly binary in humans, and one's sex generally denotes some biological certainties about one's body. BUT... not always.

Biological speaking intersex is still considered a sex development disorder. Ergo a evolutionary flaw.
In my opinion it would come down to having organs that could grow a child and not having them, and the amount of oestrogens en testosterone levels in there body's. Their body would decide for them. You're talking about a conscious decision. There's a big difference.
In the end evolution decides for us. I might be right and you might be wrong, maybe it's the other way around. But these bullshit SJW discussions are getting in the way of evolution.

And, I am not talking about what gender or sex a person cosmically IS in the terms of an exact measure and weight of each factor that contributes to what we call a male or female. In a very real way I think we can say for some people, their true intended sex may be known only to God. And if that's the case, what the hell do we do to acknowledge that there are male, female and? people out there?
