Would you let a male babysitter watch over your kids?

I read an article about this man who loved being a childcare worker... Some of the parents said he touch their children inappropriately to get him to not watch over their kids anymore. Even though he didn't do anything (they thrown him under the bus because they weren't comfortable with a male watching over their kid)... Its discrimination against every male. Not all males are child molesters and etc.. and it definitely should be recognized. And most males can't work with children because of this, They aren't allowed to pursue there dream job..

Personally i would want someone i trust to be my babysitter and not a stranger. so i dont care what gender.

The gender of the babysitter is not much important to me as long as that person knows how to take care of the children, what they should and should not eat, what to do in case of emergency, etc...
Of course a female babysitter is always better due to the fact they have the instinct of a mother. But a male babysitter could be caring and loving too.
Mt answer would be Yes, but it depends too, whether the babysitter is male or female dear Loving Zombi.

I would only allow someone I have known for a while, and someone I trust to watch kids. Random strangers who say they are babysitters are kinda shady tbh

No. If I ever have kids, I would not let anyone else babysit them. You can't trust anyone. I rather know my kid is safe than finding out someone raped, or abused my child and then those scars never really heal. I have seen so many bad cases. I have seen cases where people leave their kids at the aunt or uncles house but then the aunt/uncle had company and those strangers touched the child and the had no idea about it. It's a sick world out there.

It depends. If they don't let strangers in the house then ofcourse. My mom would sometimes drop me off at this old ladies house but I was already about 8 years old. One time she dropped my brother off at her sisters house and she said she regretted it because when she got there she saw my brother crossing the street on his own (he was 1 years old) My aunt thought it was no big deal but my mom was shocked! So i mean, I rarely hear of stories where people have had great exeriences with baby sitters. Like I said, those scars never heal. Better to be safe than sorry. But if you really trust the friend than I guess you would just have to go with the motherly instincts.

His gender wouldn't a concern for me. I'd scrutinize anybody that has access to my child regardless of their biology.

I guess if he was family. It just seems like women are more likely to have nurturing instincts, but a male babysitter isn't totally out of the question.
