I'd really like to know if my lecturer likes me more than a student?

Hey I'm a first year at university. I'm 20 years old and I am totally in love with my maths teacher. He is such a brilliant person, I guess his intelligence got to me. Anyway because of how I am, I got his email from a group page and we chatted alot. At times he mentioned he as a wife but he doesn't wear a wedding ring AT ALL. And he moves around so carefree as if he's not committed. After I placed my picture up one day on yah, wen we were chatting, from then weird things started to happen!

During class he'd just look into my eyes for brief periods as if analysing me or something, and he doenst do it to the other people in the entire room! Imagine we had an exam and he was watching me alot, I just looked down then I figured what the heck, if he's playing at something Id like to know its what so I stared back...he was coming out the exam room last night and saw me talking to my frend, I looked right at him, he looked back and just passed me...

We sat in a bus together last sat and he was talking to this guy about his life, like how he's studying hard and so on, and all the while I couldn't help but feel as if he was bragging, because nothing the guy was asking him requuired all that info about his life! it was as if he wanted me to know more about him. And wen I was looking out the window I could feel him watching me... damn its nerve wrecking! I thnk I'm running mad in trying to figure out what he is trying to say! help me!

Believe it or not professors are actually people, with all the desires, fears, etc. that everyone else has. It does sound like he is at least intrigued by you, which I'm sure is flattering. But you and he do NOT want anything to happen for two important reasons:

1 - He's married.

2 - If he even gives you a peck on the cheek or writes you a too-familiar email, he risks getting fired.

You're in university where there are a lot of men who aren't married or in danger of losing their job just for being with you. Fish in that sea instead.

thanks for the advice! I'm laying off of him from now, but he is always the first to buzz me online and talk me up...always mentions the wifey tho..im glad he finds me intriguing tho =) Ill keep it that way!
