She's never alone, always has a female friend?

Wanna ask out a girl in college but she's never alone. She's always with someone when I see her, and I mean ALWAYS. Every day this week. She has a close female friend in school and they go everywhere together. I'm not a chicken and I would ask her out in person, but I can never get her a part (I'm serious!). I feel too desperate to ask her if I can have a few words in private. Both of us are decently shy so I'm wondering if asking her out via social network site might not be a bad option? I don't want to do phone because she is not a native speaker and has told me she doesn't understand phone conversations well. If she really likes me, wouldn't she accept a date via a social network site?

I definitely can understand this. I am a college student too so I've seen situations like this all the time. My best advice would be asking her to hang out. Maybe the first time let her friend come along and then the second time do something just you too. It seems like her friend gives her a lot of support since they are always together. I wouldn't not ask her out over a social network, but try and get to know her better. Find out her interests and do something together like that.

I would ask her if you two could talk in private for a few minutes away from her friend to ask her out. It will show her that your confident and not afraid to ask her in person even tho she always has a friend with her.
