Should Animals Be Allowed To Be Skinned? Why or Why not?

The one thing everyone needs to realize is that nearly any fur used comes from farmed animals. Extremely few are ever harvested from the wild.
Secondly, once an animal is dead, it has zero need for its fur. We might as well use it. Frankly, what difference does it make if the animal took 3 minutes to die or was killed instantly before you decide if its fur is worth wearing. Humanely killing an animal is a whole different point.
My grandfather used to work on a mink farm where mink was raised - specifically for the fur. He also used to raise chinchillas in his house for the very same reason. He killed them with electricity. When he pelted one out... the absolutely softest thing your hands ever touched!
If we kill them for food, then they're dead anyway and you can use the skin, as it no longer has use for it, which seems to be the most reasonable option.
I don't think we should just skin the animal and let it go, it just seems kind of harsh, unless the animal died itself.
We have always used nature for us, including the wildlife. In order to prepare animals for our needs, we breed animals for our needs, whether as workhorses, pets, animals to eat, animals for our clothes. Of course we can use them, also for furs, today and in the future.
The problem is if they are skinned d_ALIVE_
... which I don’t get why this happens. Otherwise If the animal was already dead and wasn’t tortured while it was alive -ok
But industry animals are just treated horrifically , so I’m just not a fan of any of it.

Personally I would never wear real fur but it's fine if you are using everything you can use. It's not fine if you are literally just skinning it for a rug or a jacket and leaving the rest.
The issue is if they're skinned alive, that's putting them through extreme stress and torturing them for the hell of it.
As long as it’s done when the animal isn’t alive, I don’t see a big problem with it.
Better than throwing it away in a trash after eating them. I even find it distrespectful in some ways. You should use every part of the animal.
Of course, like people have done in the past.
But I believe, if you kill an animal you should put it all to use.
They should if they're killed humanely, but they sometimes aren't.
You mean 'Should humans be allowed to skin animals?' or were you asking that 'Should animals be allowed to skin if they want to get skinned?'. What we all can do is to resist the killing of as much animals as possible. The necessity is a different factor.
What do you mean?
Your sentence doesn't make sense.
How many people do you know that eat beaver, chinchilla, fox, jackal, mink, otter, raccoon, or sable?
While they kill them humanly, I have no problem with that.
It is only US likes to get all plastic stuff food and clothes, even sticking some under skin...
animals skin humans all the time so why can't we do it to them?
we just dont hear about it because usually its a person camping alone in the wood when the animal get him or her and then they skin them
humans can be violent too!
More people wear animals product than eat them
Wool and leather are more popular than vegans. Some vegans were leather shoes and few have a problem with wool
Sheep have to be sheared or else they overheat so yeah wool isn't that bad. It isn't skinning them.
I did say animal products, chickens can't stop laying eggs either but vegans don't eat them. Yes there is more meat eaters than fur wearers but that is not what I said.
I said more people wear wool and leather etc. than eat meat
Do you not own anything wool or leather? In my country that is true
In my country i'd say less than 1% don't own anything made by an animal where as 92% eat meat.
Ireland, we are one of the biggest wool and leather producers per capita
How is that a lie? I don't know anyone that doesn't own leather AND wool, do you have any stats or are you just guessing I am wrong?
Get stats so. Check what percentage of Ireland people own a leather or wool item if you can find it being less than 92% I will give you 50 euro. What is common sense about it?
Yes they should.
nope
thats not nice dont wear rabbit
