I’m a cop and we have a few deputies who got some beer bellies, but are still pretty athletic. I work in the hood so we get a lot of runners which force us to be in shape lol. I look down on other members of law encforcement who are overweight because being out of shape could cost someone else’s life in a moment when someone needs you the most. It also makes you look undisciplined and sloppy. You have to look squared away on the job because it goes hand in hand with commanding presence. If you’re sloppy and fat and your uniform isn’t upkept, people are going to have a hard time taking you serious.
Depends on the agency. Most of the time, you can have whatever tattoos you like if it doesn’t show in uniform. Some agencies allow you to show sleeves of tattoos.

Respect for the real Police officers that fight crime with out using a gun. I mean the balls they must have. The courage. Puts these American cops to shame
Cause they never run after suspects. They’re too lazy to do that so they shoot them in the back then proceed to sit their fat ass in the car and munch on donuts
man I can't believe how easy a cop will shoot you there... there was a story about a man who has a heart problem, his wrist watch calls 911 automatically... cops show up the man goes im ok, im safe I dont need you guys here...
at the end of it all, the man is shot dead... like what? he's shot dead and it originated from a 911 call about his heart...
Most cops here are pretty fit iv also even seen some cops that I wouldn't mind dating but the ones that are overweight are because of donuts and eating.
Most American cops lack getting proper exercise but honestly i rather see cops the size in the picture there than to see a skinny or thin cop i think thin cops lack the ability to tackle or take on suspects or convicts.
My late Maternal Grand-dad was overweight Deputy Sheriff and you never pissed with him he would take a convict from hell and back and they listened to him he was almost 6 ft tall too.
Almost every police officer who graduates from a police academy is usually in the best shape of their life. The transformation from physically fit officer to, well jumbo officer takes years. They mostly do shift work, grabbing fast food meals on the run and spend the majority of their day sitting in a police car.
Judging by the contours of their tops, I'd say most of the guys in that photo are wearing some soft body armor underneath. That gives the outward appearance of being tubby, but the vast majority of them are not.
