Do you support in Capitalism or Communism more?

Communism of course, but not Stalinism, only real (utopian) communism.
Dictatorship is not a part of original communism, it's a form of totalitarian socialism.
Capitalism is the worst form of exploitation.
Realistically speaking, the humanity is not yet ready for the true communism, because humans are too selfish.
Therefore, I think that some sort of mixed system would be currently ideal - like the Chinese Market Socialism, or the Scandinavian Welfare State.
Thanks for the MHO
Out of these, capitalism. But I'd rather have a generally free market, with a bit of regulation to prevent monopolies and such, with a welfare state.
I’m a common Commy. Deal with it.
i like communism more so no problem my comrade sista
Of course communism

Compare capitalist countries with communist ones and give me an answer.
Even Cuba removed communism from their constitution.
European countries don't have democratic socialism, unlike Bernie Sanders and his supporters say, they are capitalist economies with large welfare systems that they can only afford because they have largely outsourced their national defence to U. S. via military alliances.
China is a communist country and they are about to take over US , communism is a better idea but harder to fully commit , in my view neither are good but toxic capitalism is far more dangerous.
China has free market, therefore capitalist.
But also not completely capitalist, I think they use both communism and capitalism
Under communism, there are no lower class people?
they will have better life as communism gives free heathcare and education
You are referring to healthcare and education that are very limited in their scope and which are given at the expense of individual liberties. "Live Free Or Die!"
It doesn't sound like you understand the difference.
Capitalism rewards a person's work. If you are a lazy piece of shit, who doesn't want to learn, go to school, or make any effort to improve yourself, you will probably end up poor in a capitalist society. If you work hard, educate yourself in a good field, and make good decisions along the way, you become financially successful. Capitalism = equal OPPORTUNITY. Basically, you can choose to do whatever you want, and those decisions will reflect your outcome.
In communism / socialism, everyone is basically given welfare. It is enough to live off, but you will never live a wealthy life. In communism, the government owns the means to production, and you get a basic income.
Think of communism/socialism this way... Take an exam in school. And regardless of how hard you study, or how well you perform, every student gets the average grade. That means everyone gets a C+. And there is no possibility of you getting anything better, because communism/socialism = equal OUTCOME.
As you can see, over time, the high achievers who would have normally received an A+ will not study very hard. Why would they? They're only going to get a C+ anyway. While those who would have normally failed with an F are happy with their C+. Over time, the entire class effort declines and declines... they get lazier... but they still get their C+.
If this were applied in the US, that may mean that everyone gets the same average household (2 people) income is $60,000. Under communism/socialism, each person might get $30,000 USD for working a job. The gov't definitely isn't going to pay every citizen lavishly.
So the question is, would you be happy with communism if it meant you get to own nothing, and you had to work for a shitty salary with no means to advance your position in society?
Why do you think the USSR collapsed?
Why do you think people in Venezuela are starving to death?
It is because of communism/socialism.
Capitalism is only a cancer to lazy people. They have the opportunity to be successful, but they do not take the opportunity. And when they end up on the low income bracket, they are like the student who gets an F, and then claims to prefer communism/socialism, so that they receive that C+ instead.
@CuChullan
Haha, everything I've said is not new information. It is a recital of what happened in the former Soviet Union, and what is happening now in Venezuela.
You're 102 years old... surely you remember those days.
The fundamental reason why communism and socialism fails is that the economy is cyclical. We will always have periods of recessions and bull markets.
In capitalism, during a recession, some companies may go bankrupt. But others will rise and replace them.
In communism/socialism, during a recession, the GOVERNMENT goes bankrupt and collapses. This triggers a domino effect where society disintegrates... there's no longer any shipments of food or medicine. Public services like electricity, water, garbage collection... stops... because the government cannot pay its workers. And since the government owns everything in communism, there can be no new entity to take its place.
Meaning society erodes into civil unrest and civil war.
Exactly like what is happening today.
do you know how strong china is? and its a communist country
You are not 100% right and some areas are of but the explanation with the school exam grades was spot on.
Communism does not reward hard work. It is for lazy people. Capitalism is for hard work but it Should be responsible otherwise as I said above you will kick people unfairly
Venezuela is in the position it is directly because of draconian sanctions imposed by the USA who want to control the oil resources there. That's the sole reason.
If the USA though they could get away with doing and Iraq, they would have a long time ago.
Capitalism interfering with a sovereign states right to control it's own destiny and causing huge damage to the people there. All in the name of greed.
@CuChullan
The US had nothing to do with Venezuela's collapse. It had everything to do with Hugo Chavez seizing the oil resources of private companies and taking control of them. Chavez stole the oil, sold it on the black market, and promised his citizens free shit in order to gain continued public support. He spent everything, and saved nothing. Employees - on a socialist system - had no incentive to work hard because there is no reward for doing so. And so... the employees became lazy. They did not maintain the oil infrastructure and it eventually broke down beyond repair. As I recall, Venezuela's oil production capacity went from 100% to the current 25%. Coupled with low oil prices, Venezuela could not get enough oil revenue to pay for all their promised benefits. And so everything collapsed. That's what happens when there is excessive government control. Politicians are good at talking. Not at managing large-scale projects and operations.
Every city and country has their own little story on poorly managed government projects that go well beyond schedule and costs well above budget.
And like I said, equal outcome is favored by lazy people. You are the F student that gets a C+ by default. No intelligent person would want to work hard and get penalized for it. No intelligent person would want to live a life of mediocrity, with no chance of a better life.
@CuChullan
You realize your link shows nothing of what you said right? You gave a link to US sanctions to a handful of Venezuelan nationals, freezing their assets.
You also know very little about the oil industry if you think oil sanctions make any difference. I've worked in the oil industry for awhile, and sanctions on oil are nothing more than lip service to the ignorant public. They do absolutely nothing.
Countries with oil sanctions simply re-direct their oil to non-UN countries. Once it is transported to a refinery, a barrel of oil from Venezuela cannot be distinguished from a barrel of oil from Russia on the open market.
The demise of Venezuela's socialist government was predicted long before said sanctions were in place. It does not take a rocket scientist to know the outcome of a socialist country where 98% of its GDP comes from oil... a commodity that follows a cyclical economic pattern.
When times are good (pre-2008 where oil was $250/barrel), Venezuela paid for virtually everything for their citizens. Now that oil hovers around $40/barrel, the country can't even put food on the shelves of their grocery stores. Unfortunately, governments can't just go bankrupt and restart like a company in a captialist society can. Once a government fails, anarchy, starvation and civil war is next. Which is exactly what is happening.
One wonder why you'd want that in America, unless your objective is to ruin the country.
As someone from an ex-Soviet country, I would say capitalism is a gift from god.
The Soviets wiped out several natives under the name of communism, countless famines and forced deportation, at least 1 million people died here because of communism. When you look at the most prosperous countries they are all capitalist. Don't give Scandinavian countries as example, Danish PM in the USA said Denmark is not communist.
soviet union wasn't a true communist country , they used the ideology for their interests and not for the country , if communism done correctly , it will feel like heaven
Communism is not the same as Democratic Socialism
@Muhammad1999 "if communism done correctly, it will feel like heaven"
Yeah because we'll all be dead. No thanks.
Our Soviet Union subjugates the whole world
Like a gigantic bear from the East.
The sheep wander aimlessly, without any cause,
Yet the Soviet bear's on the hunt.
Our brotherhood's a good life, Our generosity is without compare.
All those with us are strong,
All those against us, beware.
It'd be a shame if we had hardships.
To all those around us, it's not worth your while
If we were to turn you to ashes.
We thank you profoundly, and bow to you deeply,
From the mightiest nation in all the world.
Communism=fear that people steal
Capitalism= Free to do what you want
Problem is that in many capitalist countries the laws are changed to help people at the top like in the USA or turkey or Saudi or Mexico etc.
However, Japan, Sweden, Germany, Norway Dubai have all shown that capitalism IF DONE right gets people better off.
Bad capitalism is the reason why communism exists.
hewal , i think you are the smartest person here on gag , your opinions are really good
Sipas bram. I’m not that intelligent I just see things without trying to involve much emotion
You need to google "Venezuela". Socialism does not work. Capitalism may be sub-optimal, but it doesn't generally lead to people starving and fleeing the country in droves.
How about Sweden and Norway? Both of them always beat the United States in topics like happiness, Heath care, and transportation
@HeyThere94 Those are both capitalist countries. Granted, they are social democracies with some redistribution of wealth, but they're not socialist or communist states.
Also, I would be a bit careful with surveys like that. I live in Denmark, which often scores high in them, but I feel like they miss some of the problems. E. g. if you have a lot of redistribution, that can mean some people end up living off the state their entire lives and never experiencing the dignity of making a living. Sometimes it feels as if social democrats think you can solve everything by giving people a check. So people stay unemployed and spend their money on booze and cigarettes. I don't know the solution, buy I think blaming everything on poverty is too simplistic.
*but I think
*giving people a cheque
Scandinavian countries do not routinely beat the United States in "happiness". You're also trying to compare countries that are tiny compared to the United States in both population and land. If you do a little research, you'll see every year that Scandinavian countries are routinely in the top 30 for suicides, suicide attempts, and alcohol abuse... with a fraction of the American population. I also keep hearing recently about rape cases involving migrants in many Scandinavian countries that have been going unreported. Plus I would argue how would anyone even know if anything is great when it's dark half the year?
@NYCQuestions1976 There's a lot of sensationalism in right-wing American media about alleged crimes by immigrants in Scandinavia. It's not really that recognizable over here. It's kind frustrating to have people who don't live here (not you) tell us how dumb it was of us to take in those migrants because they're running around murdering and raping everyone. That is not the case. There are always bad apples in any group of people. And we have plenty of snow-white rapists as well.
@Scaramanga I don't disagree that people and media overgeneralize things, but I was specifically talking about the small portion of the migrant population that are committing these crimes that are going unreported (or under-reported might be better language) to protect the lawmakers that put lax screening practices in place.
@NYCQuestions1976 That may be the case in Sweden. They've gone kinda all-in on political correctness. The opposite is true in Denmark. The media has basically been talking about nothing but how bad Muslims are supposed to be for the past twenty years.
But yeah, transparency is best.
@LittleBird_ Thanks a lot, I was not familiar with that speech or the other article, and found them interesting and enlightening, despite living here. Kind of you :)
@Scaramanga I also think we both have a little "pro home country" in our bones (not wanting to hear outside sources yammering about how we could/should do things). 👍
@NYCQuestions1976 Sure, I always cringe when Europeans make fun of America and call Americans dumb and stuff.
@Scramanga Welcome, you can type "Are Scandinavian countries socialist?" into google and you can find similar articles.
@LittleBird_ Cheers! :)
Capitalism is best. Communism (and it's "man-bun stepchild", socialism) punishes productive members of society for their hard work and dedication and rewards people that would rather stay home and polish their couches with their asses. Communism and socialism are stupid, STUPID systems... in ANY form.
I love downvotes.
They fuel my anger.
Make me strong.
Give me focus.
👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
Also, anyone who downvotes here is just a butthurt lazy adult-baby-person who uses their ass to polish their couch. Downvote away... 👍
I hate you all so I want communism so we can all equally suffer :)
That's the single best (and only) argument for communism in recorded history.
Neoliberal capitalism is probably the biggest blight on society today. Communism for all it's ills, gave you a home, food on the table, your health looked after, education and work.
Liberal Capitalism has lifted billions out of poverty.
If i had to choose between the two i would choose Communism
i could not choose Capitalism. Right now i couldn't choose either.
Hmmm... not the sort of intelligent conversation one can have with a 19 year old who is probably still living at home. I agree with LesbianBusinessWoman , and damn, I wish I was a lesbian !! :)
If true Communism as described by Marx and Engles had ever been implemented, we could compare. But since that has never happened, I don't know.
Definitely capitalism.
5 minutes in a communist country is a quick teacher.
National Socialism.
Capitalism/Communism are two side of the same kosher shekel...
Between extreme communism and capitalism, i'd take communism. In moderation I think capitalism is better
Uh, capitalism, obviously. What kind of dumbass question is this?
Capitalism coz when it's helping rich then it's also helping poor.
Communism as long as the leaders are not tyrans.
Nice , now you are in my squad 😂
I thought you wanted a mix?🤔
I want a mix , but if I had to choose one of them , I choose communism xD
I want what Sweden has
So neither
Communism.
Your question is cancer
Both of them are bad.
neither
BOTH, SUCK
@status update
So, Socialism?
