Why would Israel want to do that?

The UN migration pact is a load of BS that was meticulously worded in a way that essentially violates the sovereignty of every nation that signs it - an obvious move by the globalists, spearheaded by Merkel. The pact cites bogus excuses for accommodating predominantly Arab and African migrants, the most hilarious of which is "climate change." I challenge them to find a single Syrian who fled or is fleeing Syria because of climate change.

Jewish groups in Europe =/= Israeli government. The Israeli government also doesn't tell Europe to take in immigrants.

The position on Israel and immigration from non-Jews is pretty well known and has been relatively the same for a very long time.

Add to that the fact that Israel most definitely does not trust the UN in any way, and it's just the expected continuation of a long trend that Israel doesn't sign it.
