For the first 5 minutes that was almost spot on as to how I became interested in this stuff. I've watched basically of Sargon's content for the last few years, I'm pretty deep.
There's too much here to really go through it all, but...
Yes, anti-sjws generally quite enjoyed Trump winning, but there's nothing wrong with that. The problem seems to be his expectation that it was supposed to be anything other than that. Trump had a few general principles that some people liked, but most don't really care about the policy. They know the world isn't going to end if a conservative president sits in office so they don't really care, but it did matter a lot to people you they find to be absurd, naturally that's amusing. What's the problem here? They aren't engaged enough for his taste?
There's way too much trust of the mainstream media here. It's espoused as if "of course they must me credible" and that they are beholden to more than just their audience. Well no, I think on plenty of issues we see that the media is bullshit. The PewDiePie nazi controversy is a good example. Sure the wall street journal has a wealthy readership, it also has a fucking tiny readership. That's relevant too. But that's not even the real thing I wanted to talk about PewDiePie for. More importantly, it showed that the mainstream media can not just fuck up royally, but deliberately be awful and then double down on it. Where does this trust for the mainstream come from other that their status as "official"? Many people on all sides will accredit conspiratorial intent to the opposition. I don't go that far and I don't think you need to in order to see a problem. Look at policy, ideal, goals, tangible changes and you get what you need to make decisions. If someone is totally shit at face value then you don't need to get conspiratorial to take issue with them. People just want to have more reason to do so and yes people are going to be stupid like that. Surprise. Not unique to anti-sjws and ranting on about it is hardly useful.
So what if people hear alternative ideas? Even *IF* people are more vulnerable to "far-right" ideas, that doesn't mean anything. I've heard many alternative viewpoints such as those from CopmputingForver and you know what, I don't agree with things he says. But now I know what's out there I know these ideas exists and I can form my own opinions on them. Is it better that they get hidden? I don't think so. There's no more risk here of people learning something incorrect than there is of them being ignorant of something correct in the establishment media. At least with the people in their bedrooms they have no buffer, no company and produces and bunch of content that allows something to just go unaddressed or deliberately ignored without notice. When a YouTuber fucks up, they either have to make a correction, offer a justification for how no they actually didn't fuck up or just say nothing and look like a liar. That's accountability. He makes the point that it all that means they are more likely to pander to you (as if the wallstreet journal has no reason to pander), but that's okay, if pandering to me is contingent on solid information and sensible points then isn't that good? Isn't that what we call accountability?
Some people are going to consume whatever you feed them once they get a taste for it. There's no helping that. But you can at least be honest as a content creator and as audience member and make the most of that between you rather than decide it's all for this because some people are invariably wang-rods.

I did. Out of sheer entertainment. The hilarity of watching unhinged liberals get offended by shit that doesn't amount to a hill of beans is unmatched. Most SJW's are just acting out suppressed childhood trauma by finding common ground with others that have the same personality quirks. They band together to make signs and march so they have a sense of belonging and identity. Personally, I don't care about their causes. They have all the freedom they want to express themselves. It's the changing of legislation and violence I have a problem with. Using irrational fear born of skewed perception of the world around them to change laws so they "feel safe and accepted" is fucking bullshit. I fear for the future as it seems that many of these folks have zero sense of humor and some want to make sure nobody else does either.
This video is too long for my short attention span to grab hold of this concept, can you just explain it to me in like a sentence?
No, but I sure know of a lot of people that fell down the SJW one

Plenty.
It's a product of validation that coincides with conditioned confirmation bias.
People believe that there are double standards because they are told so, people start isolating events and creating generalizations of groups based on them.
People start defending those whom they don't actually support just because they are lightly associated with a political alignment.
It becomes a never ending cycle of needlessly defensive behavior and aggressive attitudes towards anyone who has a strong belief. Always coming to the conclusion that those who are not emotionally resilient are weak, and those who are passionate about beliefs they share with them are suddenly held to different standards.
The only way to climb out is to look deeper, which is probably the only motivation that will drive any stable person out of the hive mind, or backfire, and keep them there forever.I wouldn't say I belong to that crowd of individuals but I do not support SJWs, never have. And why would I? I genuinely can't think of a logical reason to. But I'm not so anti-SJW that I'm not willing to sit down and at the very least hear them out so long as they calmly speak.
I've gone down both holes, wanted to know what each side had for arguments and evidence..
I learned that Sjw's mean well, but they are sorely misguided. They are also way to anti science for my taste, they have more in common with a radical cultish religion than they do anything else.I did when the trend started. Back then it was just few clips of college students acting crazy and the anti-sjw stuff was mostly about laughing at those people.
Well that's obviously changed now since Steve Bannon's brainchildren arrived to milk every bit of reactionary juice from those same old videos. I suppose they ran out of content a while back since they're mostly complaining about superhero movies now.Do I waste my time watching other people tell me obvious stuff on youtube? NO
Am I against 3rd wave feminism, behaviour policing, loss of free speech, indoctrination in school from an early age? Yes
Do I waste my time thinking about this every day or even once every week? No
Would I ever vote in favour of SJW policies? No
Did I waste my time watching this 21 minute clip? NoI find today's political climate disturbing, poisonous, and dangerously undemocratic. On both sides. Congratulations to each for getting lost in their own rabbit holes, alienating moderates like myself, and accomplishing absolutely nothing.
usually those who cry about "SJWs" do so because they hate it when somebody opposes the bigotry they love so much
Don't know. I don't get political beliefs from YouTube.
I still watch all those channels even though I don't agree with all that they are saying. I relate more to them than the left.
I'm just "anti-minding other people's business" irrespective of the source.
I checked out after 3 minutes. Does this rabbit hole go anywhere?
There's plenty of gaggers who did but I don't know them personally.
Not a fan of SJWs but the right wing reaction is no more honest or any better either.
I really don't want to waste 21 mins of my life on SJW shit, can you explain the essence briefly?
So is this guy reactionary to the ractionaries?
Anything that is Anti-SJW is great.
I'm a proud anti-SJW.
I know you have
