Some forms of chivalry is way to think the girl is to weak to do that her self so here let the man do it for you. But other types is just to show you like them.
I suppose it is dying, partly because it isn't nearly as much of a focus as it used to be and partly because many chivalrous actions (such as opening the door for someone like in the picture) are now considered sexist or even "creepy".
yes, men no longer swear oaths of loyalty until death to lords. and they no longer get taken away at age 7 to become suicidal horse ridding warriors.

No but it is dying. I think due to the rise of the strong independent women, females don’t really appreciate these notions anymore and discourages them.

hopefully yes. it was a mistake from the beginning. there are a lot of stupid things men do that should be stopped.
No. See attached meme.
No. but it's dying. Women. Want to be equal. You can't be equal while receiving special treatment from the people you claim to be equal to.
You can revive it by being the best girl you can be and bring it out of your date

It is, but it shouldn't stop people from being courteous and holding a door for one another.
No, there are still plenty of people who love it and practice it.
I consider it behaving respectably
If its not yet it should, you dont deserve to get special treatment because you are a girl
You get what you give ;)
(Many female's tends to be very self absorbed have double standards on this front)
It depends on how a woman comes off. I’ve only ever had chivalrous men talk to me, even strangers? It’s confusing but nice 😊
Guess so. But I can't tell, I'm hardly around people, let alone men😅
Chivalry will never be dead. Less people may do it, but there will always be a few good ole boys in the world.
It's not really honored and respected much like it used to be, so naturally it is dying. What's left of it I think they call that being a "Nice Guy"
Yeah even though women expect all of the benefits.
Why aren't women chivalrous with men? Why should we maintain it for a bunch of entitled cunts?
Yeah id say its pretty dead.
No I open the door for guys and then they laugh at me... lol
I am like dude its 2019 equality and shit...
Unless women start giving it to men , yes it will die.
No, it's dying though... Because we want to be suuuper ungrateful and act like we deserve it
That's a bit of a sad thought :(

I get your point of view. But I don't really get why it would discourage us? Isn't only a behavior of politeness?
Apparently, some of them see it as a mockery of their independence. I don't know the very thought of it is absurd to me.
