What are your thoughts? Be as bluntly stated as possible
Do you feel women have began to take the #MeToo movement too far,?
What are your thoughts? Be as bluntly stated as possible
Typically throughout history, a pattern I've noticed is that we humans have a bad habit of going to the extremes - it does not matter if it's politics, religion, social justice warrior movements, etc. There's actually scientific reasons for why this is, but that's for another time.
As for the Metoo, long story short, it has gone too far because it is crime nowadays just to be a man and the gender discrimination is very bad - I can't say hi to a little boy or girl without someone thinking I'm child molester...
On the flip side, the Metoo has brought to our attention the abuse that the powerful have inflicted and must be stopped, but that doesn't mean I did it, or the "patriarchy" is at fault - just dipshit men and women. Should I blame all women for the crimes or pain of one or a group of women? Of course not.
Last thing, (you can probably tell I've spent countless hours analyzing all this), what the Feminists do not understand is that by constantly blaming and criticizing men, they are creating oppression. Oppression creates revolution = men's revolution = MGTOW is the crack in the damn/warning sign. History has proven this a thousand times and it will do so again...
The problem was that women were hailed as rape-martyrs, which made them want to expand the definition to things like "stare-rape," "almost-rape," "mental-rape" (lewd thoughts about a real girl), etc. If it had been confined to a pat on the back and didn't have the publicity, it would be fine, but everybody wants their five minutes of fame.
Most accuarate responce for sure👌
It went in the wrong direction when it went viral on Twitter.
I was at the me too founders speech, she basically said it became a symbol of popularity but victims who actually suffered still suffered, not enough donations, not enough mental support, this symbol is abused.
And thats what saddening to me the most.:(
Thanks for the comment❤️❤️
I think there are people who take every movement to far. Of course there are going to be women who say it's harassment if a guy just talks to them. Doesn't make the movent any less important for who actually have been wronged.
I believe in the movement yes, just like you and i both stated i dont like the abuse of it. Its not right to the women using it that actually have legitimate stories behind it
@Alpha09 Not necessarily. While I'm glad losers like Harvey Weinstein have lost their throne, any person who misrepresents their product, company, family, etc all have a domino effect on the reputation of the entity they work or come from.

#MeToo has gone way too far. They began to take it way too far years ago. It's a problem not only for men, but also women. It's a problem for actual victims of rape as women are now less credible when it comes to rape. It hurts more than it helps. I'm completely against it. I believe it's absolutely immoral.
I really don’t see much from the movement anymore. You’re following the wrong people.
Otherwise, I don't know it depends on what you’re talking about that you don’t think should constitute as rape.
Examples throughout all the mens comments
Began to? It went too far ages ago!
Obviously but its clearly still going and getting worse!. Not so much the movement but calling rape in general
Begun to take it too far? It went too far almost as soon as it began. It turned into a witch hunt and a tool for women to hurt men almost immediately.
Recent example right here at GAG... watch the video in the question linked below and then take a look at the poll results, especially the females. A full 25% of the females who responded believe the MMA fighter sexually assaulted ring girl, which is just insane and goes to show how much many women just hate men and desperately want to find any reason to take them down. This is the shit men face in the world we live in today.
The concept of MeToo was great, but just like anything else feminists do, it has been taken way too far and used as a means to hurt men, because that's what modern feminists do.
MMA fighter "sexually assaults" ring girl after one win, then is fearful of being anywhere near the ring girl on the next win. Just or Unjust? ↗
It was stupid and baseless from the beginning. It was a hashtag a girl would post online and then immediately say "I don't want to talk about it". So outright saying they've been sexually assaulted or raped, putting it out there. Then not naming names. It was a way for girls to garner sympathy online over a very serious issue, then make literally no steps to resolve the matter or do anything about it.
It's not even that it was taken too far. It was a useless movement from the very beginning. It wasn't raising awareness. It wasn't helping women not feel alone. It wasn't doing anything of substance. It's just a hashtag, attached to angry feminist groups now and nothing more. It's meaningless.
They sure did. It was the last straw that created MGTOW. This has been happening long before #MGTOW #Metoo and #beleivewomen though. But #Metoo was the catalyst for MGTOW in my opinion.
The Red Pill opened my eyes personally. I'm not MGTOW but it did help me see the global issue.
Devorce and Custody Court showed me the rest.
Are those documentaries or books,?
Documentary that turned a feminist against her own movement. She saw the toxic reality of the Marxist Construct. Cassie Jaye needs a Humanitarian Award in my opinion.

Yes it's taken too far, I have had to deal with the law on more than a few occasions because of some stupid shit my roommates have done. And it wasn't even in the slightest that serious smh. It sure is cause the law loves that shit. Heavy charges for litterally nothing. Sore subject for me, cause my friends have gone through the system over some of the dumbest ish...
Like what,? Im always curious to know of what people get accused for besides the obvious
They've gotten arrested and I've had my house searched and all electronics taken based off of some sexual texts he sent a women who was willing and going with it. Then she snapped one day n got jealous an tried to say that all his advances were not wanted. He's out now but on top of m losing my laptop. He went to jail for 2 years for that bs. He's a good kid too. Crazy, but not that kinda crazy. It was messed up
Awwwh poor guy thats sad
Was wrong since the moment I heard of it. Then again my first point of contact was girls using it to get back at guys they dated/didn't date. A very misproportionate means of payback I'll add.
I am absolutely confident the movement has done some good for a lot of people and probably had fantastic intentions. I have unfortunately only seen the bad of it. I mean the first big #metoo scandal where I live was a b-celeb coming out with her having been at a party, jumped into a tub topless with the party owner who had then proceeded to try and kiss her. Which she didn't say a word about for 15 years to then sensationalize as sexual harrassment/rape.
I have heard of the occassional Thank you speeches from within the group's own forums. And while some may be fake, those certainly paint a more positive picture.
#metoo is nothing but whiny crybaby's that scream rape to get what they want and to further their agenda. At a basic level, it's really no different than someone yelling racist and pointing in order to get what they want or further there agenda of being above the law. It's extremely sad when all you have to do to make money, or get something you want, is too point your fingers at someone and yell rape.
There just going to shoot themselves in the foot in the long run, no one will want to deal with these people and there attitudes eventually and on an individual level they'll realize there mistakes when no one ever wants to be around them anymore because all they do is complain, and lie. And the worse part is even though it will level out in the long run, it won't justify all the bullshit they drug others through, in order to get what they think there entitled too.
Yeah. It’s pretty fucked up. I could go on a date with a girl. Have proof she wanted to meet up, and then later on have proof that she was down for sex and we hookup and she can tell the cops I raped her. And like always... the courts believe the woman. Even if the man has digital evidence that it was consensual
Its ridiculous. I feel bad for the ones who actually ARE victims and they have all of these others crying wolf
Ruin a man’s life after accepting his cock... kinda fucked up
Hahaha, accuratley stated😂🤦♀️
I strive for precision
We can list many examples of where things went wrong, but that's normal in such a case. Women have been repressed and bullied into not speaking up and taking harassment for so long, they are now lashing out, so that's normal. With time, the dust will settle and things will be examined more rationally and sanely. But that doesn't disqualify the importance of the movement and its role in defending women against a culture that treats them as second class citizens. All movements that lead to social change had similar phenonmena with them.
I do have reservations about the movement, but they differ from yours : )
The MeToo movement have had its biggest impact in the workplace. There was a study recently done that shows 60% of Male managers don't wanna have one on one meetings/interactions with female coworkers. So that greatly affects women. The funny thing about this situation is, study after study have shown that women prefer having male bosses/manager's, because men are more easy-going and supportive, which contradicts the notion that sexual harassment is rampant in the workplace. Even on this site over the past year or two. The majority of women (poll questions) said they prefer working with men. So metoo has basically been weaponized by some women *feminist* *cough cough* as a way to gain power and destroy a guys life without due process... #BelieveAllWomen
Yeah i agree! I prefer working with men, most all of my friends are guys, and i like male bosses. This is sad to hear
I have personally experienced false accusations multiple times. Good thing there were always many witnesses and cameras.
If a woman claims rape or harassment, my first thought is she is lying and either wants money, revenge, or regrets her actions from before.
If I am on a jury I will vote not guilty for any man that is accused of something like that unless there is video proof. I don't care if there are a bunch of women lying against him, it doesn't make it true at all. And the legitimate victims only have other women to blame for people not believing them anymore. Way too many are very dishonest and have ruined or attempted to ruin men's lives and careers.
At minimum lying women should get the maximum sentence that would have been possible for the guy, plus pay him money until all damages/career is fixed, and be fined for any personal relationships that were ruined by the false accusation.
Yeah i strongly believe a lot of the accusations are placed because of regret or the man blew them off and their pissed about it. Girls are vengful and will go to those depths when a man wrongs them.
Who were your accusers,? Just exes or ,?
I wasn't ever in a relationship with any accusers. It was jealous people, people that wanted revenge for unrelated stuff that was their own fault, and a couple Black girls that didn't like me because I was a White man working there.
One of my co workers got accused of harassment too.
It is bad, but most people don't care in reality.
I know that some women have been abused, and treated horribly, but it seems that MeToo is making it a 'crime' to be a man, like we are all abusive perverts that just subjugate women.
It's to the point that I am really unsure talking to women at work, or going on any dating sites.
Lol! Yeah I haven’t seen enough to feel afraid yet but I certainly don’t feel comfortable talking to girls out and about. I mean I don’t think I have necessarily stated it but yeah anyone can come across with how I was inappropriate or rude and honestly I have also had enough really awkward moments recently with girls who were so young that I shouldn’t have been talking to them. That is too young for my comfort... and I just know that one day it will bite my balls off...
Simply said, it's not putting an end to rape and sexual abuse - it's making it a joke.
MeToo is a witchhunt and ridicules what they fight against.
It's fine by me, it just further discredits women making them look whiny and dependent.
I once lurked on a forum "for women" and these broads would go as far as "this lady in HR was rude to me, does this mean I have a #metoo story now?" ... Just so desperate to claim themselves a victim. No, you're not a loser because of other people, you're a loser because you're too dumb or lazy.
I think me too is a good idea, but has turned into a bunch a crap.
Oh, I want men to pay attention to me. The moment they do.
RAPE!
If someone waits 20 years and until someone is rich the person claiming they were assaulted is a piece of shit.
I don’t care what their excuse or reasoning is.
Yes, sexual assault does happen it is sick and horrible.
I have zero sympathy for those that let it happen and not report it.
It is just middle age women looking for attention at that point or looking for any easy pay check.
Women are doing what they are told. MeToo is a movement that was promoted by the media apparatus. Women haven't taken anything too far, but their handlers have. Their handlers are Hollywood execs and corporate interests, who want to dis-empower men, because they are harder to control.
You are too smart to fall for this shit, and many women think just like you, just too afraid to speak out because of the perceived social implications.
I think the way that some people are politicizing it is definitely taking it too far and is making a mockery of those falsely accused and those women who have been actually assaulted
Yeah thats my issue with it And why i wrote it,
I have a close family member who was so i def. know how bad it is, she gets super
Uncomfortable to talk about it or kinda leaves the room if anything were to come on tv.
And yeah I don't know i feel bad for y'all though too, careers and reputations can be ruined over fake accusations
I suspect most of these rape stories are faked. Either staged of told by guys pretending to be women online, in an effort to discredit all the legitimate ones. Toss a room full of broken glass onto a diamond and who would ever suspect any part of the pile isn't junk?
Girls my age will call rape becUse they got ditched after sex or a man looked at them the wrong way or held a door open for them, not just from things online. These are just everyday random occurances
Read other comments.
It does happen, and college girls do it all the time.
Well, comments are comments.. sadly, I can never be sure any comment isn't one of the aforementioned guys trying to discredit the notion. Not sure what benefit such elaborate manipulation has for anyone, but I find it harder to believe anyone can be that dumb than to believe anyone can be that malicious..
Yes it has gone too far a big part of it is our corrupt court system. That they just believe the woman crying. Even though evidence and proof can say everything else.
Until we have AI that can run our court system for us we need to make it So Only sociopath and psychopath can be judged and yours so they're not bounded by emotions But think with logic.
I think it had good intentions and it got out of hand. If you try to fix something somewhere, something else breaks somewhere else.
Exactly👍
No way. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have learned that "eye rape" was a real thing and guys should go to jail for looking at a woman like that. They're doing good things. lol. Yes I'm being sarcastic though. I'm so over that shit.
😂😂😂 yes i assumed that as i was reading lmao, made me laugh pretty hard
Yeah man like seriously you can't even help a women these days on the street if they fall down and they'll be wanting you arrested like women seriously I was tryna help and they be like no he was harrasming me
This is a perfect example! Lol
Its sad
Honestly yes.. its cause guys like my self to be cautious around women to the point where if they are asking for help, I take a "let's see how this is going to play out" attitude rather than doing the kindness of helping.. most companies I deal with are afraid of hiring women, they feel like they are more trouble tha. they are worth..
It's honestly really useless. I got sexually harassed, better post it on social media! It's probably information I wouldn't be thrilled to share with others.
the fact of the matter is that men has given women all th power... because of disobedience and weakness to th flesh... men need to back to their heavenly father to get th spiritual balance... to be able to gevern the earth and tender to women in the right way... the truth is men are blind in every way... and women try to take a man place... and this is th results... because women weren't created to lead... but for comfort... they're emotional creatures... men were...
No. It's a legitimate movement but like many, there are those who use it for dishonest means. I do feel for the men that are afraid to make a move or date, but if they don't perform any action that can be construed as "villainous" then I don't think he has anything to worry about.
Not true. It is easy to get falsely accused as a man when doing nothing wrong at all. Even not showing interest in a girl when she likes a man can get him falsely accused out of jealousy.
I know it's easy to get falsely accused but most of the time it is thrown out because the evidence is circumstantial or there is a severe lack of it. I still don't think many men should be fearful. Maybe I don't grasp the seriousness of how false accusations can affect a man, but I would hope that the justice system would be sensible (in most cases like these).
Just an accusation can get a man fired from his job. Even totally unproven. And if he ever gets arrested, even if later it gets proven false, just the arrest would prevent him from having a lot of good quality jobs.
Plus many people instantly turn against him (friends and family) and it ruins his relationships. Then he gets behind on bills because of no work.
It has real long term negative consequences.
And the majority of the time, even when it is known to be false either through witnesses, actual proof, or her admission, there is still usually no punishment at all for the woman.
You summed it up pretty well.
Some Conservatives actually started a #himtoo, for all the men falsely accused of rape
Himtoo🙈😂 I don't know how i missed that one, haven't been keeping up with the news too much lately though. This just came from overhearing some girls at the pool today joking about it, saying they were going to use this on some guy.
Thats why the annoyance, people like that
I was at a party and some girl sat on a guy's lap, and I joked, "She's gonna sure you for sexual harassment in 20 years"
Lmfao sadly true though🙈😂😂
But why wait 20 or 30 years?
If I was the judge I would tell her, "Fuck you! Get the fuck out of my courtroom! Why didn't you press charges 30 years ago?"
by the way, did you hear about the Italian judge who let tow Peruvian rapists go because he saw the victim and said that "she's too ugly to get raped"
I understand the whole not talking about it because i had someone close that actually DID have it happen, amd she never knew how to handle it. You dont really understand that aspect till it happens to you so i can't judge that.
Amd lmfao on the second part, wtf🙈😂 is there an article on this
I guess you're right. Maybe they're so traumatized they can;t speak of it.
My mom says she would just twist their dicks. LOL
But a lot of those Hollywood women did it themselves then later wanted money or felt embarrassed, so they said they were raped.
My favorite was Asia Argento. She was the biggest #metoo advocate, than it came out that she had sex with an underage boy. It's stuff like this that make it difficult to take these kinds of movements seriously.
ktla.com/.../
Omgggg, seriously? How did i miss all of this🙈😂 bet that girl feels like a pretty big dumbass now
Which one? Asia Argento? I don't know how you missed any of this either.
But see, this is the difference between the Left and Conservatives. If I made that "Get out of my courtroom" comment to a Liberal, they would've called me a misogynistic piece of shit.
But you actually gave a concrete counter argument.
Lmao it's too late. Assumption of Innonecence? Oh whats that? A woman can ruin a mans life just by accusing him of rape without having any solid proof. Feminism right now is just man hating.
Pretty accurate
I have not Come across the affects of it in Oz yet, so I cannot comment with any real authority on the Matter.
You dont live in the states,?
Where oz,?
Australia, sorry baby we gonna have have a long distance love affair.
I used to have an sd that was oringally from austrailia;)😋
Sorry what is a SD.
I have dated many races women, American, I only fooled around. I liked the Fooling, ok I figured it out "Sugar daddy" cool. Hope he was good to you. We are generally very honourable people.
Your not white,? Im confused now...
And there's a podcast that i listen to that always says the girls there are slutty and have daddy issues. I don't know I've never been there🤷♀️ seems cool though
Yes i am very white.
No girls don't have daddy issues anymore than any other populations.
Who knows its a podcast🤷♀️ lol
I wouldn't know, your pics a monkey so had to ask lol
I'm definitely a hairy beast. And my cousin's are chimps, I'm a little more attractive than they are.
Some women yes. But I think the fundamental idea is still good. Unfortunately it's being misused by an extremely vocal side.
Well yes of course for the most part its a great thing, its just being abused was my point like you said. Its sad
Yeah they have turned into a weapon then they get mad when guys don’t ask them to on dates or to prom and again blame men it’s a cycle and it’s like bruh
I don't follow the whole "MeToo" movement, but to me it seems some chicks are out of control with the whole thing and looking for some sort of attention for the slightest sexual gesture or advancement and it actually screws it up for the real women who are victims that are sexually assaulted or touched inappropriately.
You dont have to follow it, you can understand it in everyday life as a man.
There was no real substance to it. It was mostly hypocritical actresses grandstanding to raise their PR profile.
Began? That movement grossly overstepped itself long ago, almost as soon as it started.
Salem witch trials 2.0
I now initiate everything on some kind of dating app, that way there is a paper trail so I don't get an attention seeker like Aziz Ansari did.
And I can't help but laugh when women piss and moan that men don't initiate anymore nor do we hold doors, etc.
I'm not about to put myself in a situation where an innocent gesture will mean harassment charges
Its only “some” women, but i see what your saying
We all know what happened to the boy that cried wolf too many times! But i guess only this time its a girl
I'm not sure. I need more concrete information to answer this question.
Hi xxx
My wife was raped as a teenager. But she thinks what is happening is ridiculous to men.
Yes a family member of mine was as well, so thats why i agree with the whole thing but it turned into a joke very quickly.
Heard two teen girls talking while i was laying out at my pool today jokingly about pegging rape on some guy for standing one up, mainly what caused me to write this. The younger ones have a skewed vision and think its a joke
Way too far. But hey I guess by their standards in probably speech taping you already or smh...
They went too far a long time ago. It’s turning into a modern day witch hunt.
I believe the intention was good but it has gone too far.
Noo they have the right to protect and talk for themselves I do support it we should respect women n no guy has a right to make a girl sleep without her liking
You clearly are not from the states
Obviously.
You dont get the further argument. So im not going to go into it
I feel women have began to take the #MeToo movement too far
women are dumb. i'm not sorry. They are illogical, indirect, selfish and can never admit when they are wrong.
They seek for problems and deny solutions
They run to danger and then expect men to save them.
I'm not sorry. women are dumb. They have no solutions. just more problems.
Dont generalize women are dumb when i am a woman!. Thnks.
Maybe say “certain women”
no. its all. They all carry the same energy, mindset and behaviors.
You are an idiot, dont comment a post where i am giving men the upper hand and proceed to call me an idiot!. Sorry you have shit experiences but no there not all the same. And if thats your mindset, i can see why there is no perfect women, you like men. Its evident
@stormbreakero6 Unless you know every single woman in the world, which you don't, you can't make that statement. Personally, I can say I am none of those things, quite the opposite actually.
@just_a_human thanks for that!❤️❤️ i agree too! I know plenty of your typical crazy women but i hang out with a lot of guys for a reason. I dont like drama, think pretty logically, and im calm and relaxed. If this was the case we could caterogize all men as the same, which the dumb girls he writes of say this, but i dont agree with it.
Triggered like an AK.
they are all the same. Whether you agree or not. It changes nothing.
Cool
Have fun taking it up the ass😘
triggered like an AR
What's an AR
@Just_a_human its a rifle gun.
Oh I thought it was some new urban acronym
Ya someone needs to take ur woman card away. Women are degraded, insulted, and have our rights taken away by men. Not to mention especially now in the whole abortion crisis where women’s rights are fundamentally being destroyed as we speak.
Dear god your also the girl who isn't for trump so i camt take this seriously whatsoever.
But thanks for the comment😘
Lol you got some serious issue if u can’t take opinions from people who don’t support a racist sociopath.
Np girl ❤️❤️❤️
isn't the metoo about rape though and nothing to do with abortion? I am not too educated about the movement
@vlad9inches you are correct, this girl just isn't very bright
Ok just making sure lol but i was actually shocked with that whole abortion thing that state did recently
Shocked good or bad,?
Im against it. Its ridiculous
I am not sure if shocked could ever be good lol of course bad thats just so backward and primitive its ridiculous. They might as well start burning witches thats so backward lol
Bitch the whole thing is about women’s rights, and I was saying women’s rights are very important, especially right now, and that is evident by how women’s rights are being taken away. Maybe you should learn some English before you call people bright/not bright. Especially from someone ur age who should’ve already finished college...
@kelsey_disney first and foremost, refrain from using language on my post or do not post. 2. Womens rights are being abused, especially within the metoo movement with actual women whom have had something happen., I've had a close relative who actually WAS raped and thinks the metoo movement is a joke due to the nature and many others agree!. 3. You make no valid point when im clearly speaking English, you are apparently just illiterate.
We will just leave it at that, I don't know how else to dumb it down anymore
“Language please” who are you Captain America lol stfu. Also in the sentence where you mention you’re speaking English, you need a semicolon instead of a comma ;)) so just make sure your sentences look okay before you try to make yourself sound good😂😂😂 maybe you can dumb it down for me by using correct grammar! Aww poor relative of yours that was raped. I genuinely feel bad for her and wish her the best, but this happens to a ton of women, and it’s because men think they’re allowed to do whatever they want with women. Time’s up.
Um excuse me? “Men think they’re allowed to do whatever they want with women”? I would appreciate if you do not make wide sweeping generalizations like that not all men are rapist so please stfu... Thanks!
@vald9inches i warned you she was slow😂
@kelsey_disney dont give my relative sympathy, she wouldn't want it from someone who was this much of an idiot. You’ll grow up one day. Until then keep watching your little disney movies, mmkk😘✌️
@inbox and apparently im a guy because i dont agree with all the phsychotic views of feminists, most women in their right mind dont agree!. she's a total GENIUS😂🎉👍
@kelsey_disney hate to break it to you, but im a woman. A much more attractive one then you'll ever be. And its funny how everyone else is blantantly making fun of you as well but you continue to argue a point. You are literally the biggest idiot ever., like literally have no words. Just like the last guy said you’re a “genius”😂😂
Okay sir!
Let me call her a man because thats the best i got, its funny thats the only way people can think to bash. Its pretty pathetic but you’re a little kid, what do i expect. Not to mention you’re way below me looks wise. So im winning, always. Bye little girl, learn to grow up and understand life. 😘
What the actual fuck is a "Women card"?😂
*facepalm*
@retarded_microwave apparently something this child made up😂🤷♀️
I don't know, haven't really paid attention to it
Its not really just the movement im talking about just dumb girls calling rape in general. Like guys can't even hold a door open or give a compliment without some of them freaking out
Too far...
Like stars in the sky.😂
It went too far as soon as it began
Haven't heard anything about it.
Im not just talking about the movement.
Oh your not in US right, ?
It went too far ages ago
I hear you
Hell yeah!
Out dated drama 🎩
If your dating, its still going on🎉
