-posted in girls behaviour but aimed at BOTH genders- How many genders do you think there are? I believe there is only 2 genders, either you are born a boy or a girl. And I think the world has just gone to damn pc that now people can choose their gender, in my country, a new law has passed that on government forms you can either put that you are "female", "male" or "describe your gender". Some people even believe you shouldn't refer to your child as male or female until they are old enough to decide what gender they are. But someone that is born with a vagina is female, someone that is born with a penis is male. Any one that disagrees with this, I would love to hear your argument into HOW and WHY there are more than 2 genders..  Probably going to get a lot of hate on this one so go ahead 🤷🏻‍♀️

Apart from biology facts backing up that there are two genders, I don't want to melt some snowflakes so my answer is that there are more than 2 genders. I am a man when I want to be paid more (gender pay gap that is a lie, let's assume is real too) and a lesbian with a dick when I want sex (being a lesbian I can demand respect and love).

I don't think it makes any sense for there to be a specific number of genders. Anything between male and female is a grey zone.

As for sex, there are the usual two and several intersex variations (that we know of).

Biologically there are two sexes (male and female, xx and xy chromosomes) gender is a mentality. You can identify yourself as male, female or whatever else you feel like. Sex is a fact, gender is a choice.

Even those who had gender reassignment surgery, still should not be allowed to be called other gender then they were born as they will only look similar to other gender, but not able fully function as one.

Hermaphrodite (never seen one, so I just class it as unicorn gender)

I have heard the sci-fi idea of a third gender - this may be true on an exoplanet. Moreover, in a tenth grade classes required reading "Autobiography of Long Lance", I learned Blackfoot Indian Language has 4 genders !
