Nothing in the US Bill of Rights indicates that they were intended to have rights as a citizen to vote.

Thus the 19th amendment.

But in the current climate it feels like maybe some people believe that women should t vote, run for public office or do anything other than bring in an additional paycheck.

This is just what I’m hearing from Red Pillers both online and in public.

That women are useless and it’s the same thing as women’s lib.

Also, those who use the term red pillers are using that in reference to the far-right but they themselves are on the left. But it's a term that neither the right nor the far-right use for themselves in any significant way

Dude no on the red piller thing. I’m taking it from the horses mouth and trying to figure out how to adjust and deal with it.

The CEO of my company came out at an important business meeting then lunch following as a red piller. He said I’ve swallowed the red pill and went on a racist tirade only after dressing down women as entitled and not worth any respect. Respect is for men.

We were at a meeting with Berkshire Hathaway and my CEO got upset when they mentioned that they wouldn’t be insuring migrant detention facilities.

So he was triggered. He supports child detention so long as they were brought here illegally or legally by immigrants without papers prior to crossing the border.

So he’s identified as an Incel. I’ve read about this red pill fringe. But to have someone like that say I’ve swallowed the red pill and ask if he needs to explain what that means at a high stakes business meeting is very concerning.

Concerning because I've known this person for a good many years and only within the past 2 has he been radicalized.

I’m not trying to disparage anyone for their well thought through political or social ideology. But social norms still exist.

That sounds like it really sucks. I'm sorry you have to deal with a boss like that. more and more people are getting radicalized these days, and I'm not sure how best it should be handled.

However, I would submit that your experience is not indicative of a significant trend, just indicative that your boss is easily manipulated or has decided he wants to be a troll. But the red pill reference has been used by conservatives to mean becoming conservative from the left, and not becoming far right. Despite attempts on the left to use the term differently.
