Gould Women have the right to vote?

In Italy where I was born women got the right to vote in 1945, partially in 1925 in some regions. I moved to USA where women got the right to vote in 1929. My mom said that women shouldn’t vote it should be one vote per household. In USA men got to vote at 18 because they had to sign up for military draft. That’s why they got to vote. Women don’t sign up for the military draft why should they get to vote? Is the old way better and do you like one household one vote?

In the US, passage of the 19th Amendment in 1919 and ratification in 1920 gave women the right to vote.

The 26th Amendment lowered the voting age from 21 to 18, but it wasn't entirely about draft eligibility. It was just as much about the number of people who entered the work force after high school around age 18. Everyone 18 and over is subject to be called for jury duty. If you participate in the work force, pay taxes, and help sustain the economy you should get a voice.

It goes like this. If you have a right and choose not to exercise it, that's entirely up to you. You are free to stay home, raise babies, be an old-fashioned wife. You have the right to address grievances with government, but you may choose not to. You have the right to keep and bear arms, but nobody is forcing you to own a firearm if you choose not to. What you are NOT free to do is deprive me or anyone else of their rights. If you don't want to vote, stay home on election day. Encouraging civic participation is nothing to throw under the bus.

I am against female only political parties or laws that isn't sex neutral. Women no longer deserve special treatment. Because that is what causes unfairness in society today. Registration is often automatic and involuntary, since driver licensing data systems are linked to Selective Service. Jury selection also comes from driver license and voter registration records, and that's everyone over 18. There is no draft, just a list. The chances of a draft being reinstated is highly remote, certainly with the dysfunctional Congress we have right now. The chances of getting called for jury duty - repeatedly - are quite high if you're over 18.

Our military wouldn't do much without the people who manufacture equipment, or the engineers who design it - or all the office workers who see that things are shipped where they need to be.

Every member of the active military has a huge number of people standing behind them to let them have everything they need to be effective.

I do not have a problem with women voting. For me the main issues are:

1. money can be extracted, under threat of violence, from Person A and given to Person B via majority vote. Theft is theft, even if under the color of authority.

2. The draft assumes that the people are the property of the state, to be used and disposed of as the political elites see fit.

Yes. Women have wide capabilities in Military service, including tech positions like piloting an A-10 Warthog in Ground Support and Suppression and even being bombardiers as some were in WW2 B-29's. Within reasonable limitations, they should serve in war time.
