Because the older I got I saw that there are some people, like police officers, firefighters, and military actually serve a purpose instead of flaunting a fake ass around. Then they just seemed disgraceful
Because in their fake lives (which is shown on tv) people see some kind of success and freedom and they don’t realize that they’ve got more problems than us
People idealize everyone even fictional character, they need someone to look up to, someone who they want to be similar to. I can't say why but many people are like that especially young people.
For one I really wanted to be like jenelle in teen mom , because she stands up to people in her life , she's not a doormat... and her whole life her mom wanted to keep her down , but she's living a good life now. I think everyone wants to be rich and glam like the Kardashian clan.
I've never watched teen mom but it sounds like the actions and attitude of this Jenelle were what appealed to you more than these fake lifestyles reality tv portrays.
No idea, the kardashian one is honestly gross, i want that family to die out. Im all for fake but they take it to another level, especially showing no honedty in the work they get done
I don't idolize them. I despise Hollywood and the entertainment industry. I can't stand their moral decay and their agenda which is why I stopped watching TV years ago.

Not everyone does, I know I don’t.
I also don’t like watching reality tv.
I don’t understand it either. None of them serve a purpose whatsoever. I don’t idolize them now but I thought they were the greatest a few years ago
You're right they have no talents or any contributions to society, why did you change your mind on them?

People do tend to understand true morals and values as they get older.
They're are like Jesters sitting on the Kings/Queens throne
i dont idolize it, but i watch many differnet realities, you can just learn a lot from it
What could someone learn from watching one of these shows?
human relationships and living life in general, you learn a lot from peoples mistakes

I used to love Geordie shore and teen mom because there were characters just like me and it was fun to watch there lives unfold.
Fair enough , So you saw yourself in those "characters" but did you idolise them?

They get sucked in. It's the same for people idolizing rockstar. For most people it's a distraction
I don't know, I've never idolized anyone because im my own person.
I could care less about them
Well I love that it's a great mentality to have and i couldn't agree more , but any guesses why others are so drawn to them?
No idea, the kardashian one is honestly gross, i want that family to die out. Im all for fake but they take it to another level, especially showing no honedty in the work they get done
Its pathetic
I'm starting to like you more by the minute, choice of death for them? Haha
Probably plastic surgery death. Would be funny and ironic because they are “all natural”. Specifically butt implant ones
There would then be no denying their lies.
I think it’s a bit of jealousy, if you see someone gorgeous that have stuff you don’t you’ll most likely wanna watch
Envy is one of the 7 sins.
Well don’t tell me that
I don't idolize them. I despise Hollywood and the entertainment industry. I can't stand their moral decay and their agenda which is why I stopped watching TV years ago.
Honestly I could never understand the fascination with reality shows & stars myself.
I know, I don't get it either, cuz those people are so dumb and unattractive.
I dont idolize them either in fact I watch zero zero reality TV.
It's because people obviously have nothing else better to do with their lives.
Because they want their lives. I personally don’t know anyone who idolizes them.
They idolize others because they haven't taken control of their OWN lives. They are trying to love vicariously - it usually doesn't work.
If you ask me personally, I don't like a lifestyle like reality TV stars. Their life is full of controversy and show off
Well it's a manufactured reality where everything is perfect for them
Shows like that teach people how to live a false life, the life we see on Instagram and TV.
Huh, so fake, so plastic!⛳
Couldn't agree more, teaching viewers you have to look, talk and act like those people
Yeah bro ⛳
Anything to escape their own miserable inadequate lives...
I don't know what ur talking about, i stopped watching tv 3 years ago
