Over 80% of people are fine with interracial relationships (according to surveys done in the US), however if you look at the media you'll notice that the majority of the relationships pushed are white women with non white men NOT white men with non white women or non white men with non white women. Its a very one sided push and its quite pervasive. That is the issue, the fact that they tend to gloss over white men with black women, they don't seem to push Asian men with black women or white women with Asian men, or indian men etc. etc. shows that this is not about inclusivity, that in fact this is a push for a certain agenda.

And I have friends that only like black guys and the reasoning kind of sucks but whatever. I just know that my relationships haven’t been based on media just happens.

@DictumVeritas Yeah, bullshit. First and foremost its conjecture, second it doesn't take into account personal preference. Trying to say that because one part of the brain activiated (in one study) therefore it means X is moronic. Any one who bothers to do any studying on the brain would tell you that the brain is FAR more complicated then that. For instance if we take hormones, when you are intimate with some one your brain releases oxytocin. So does that mean that this is the only function it has? Absolutely not, its also responsible for lactation and causing contractions during birth. This is the same argument made that said that men see women as tools because a certain part of the brain lit up. Unless you can say with absolute certainty you know what that part of the brain does, its a poor argument. It also had only 19 participants which makes that meaningless on top of which its not peer reviewed (making it a pointless study because it doesn't have enough participants (first one was less then twenty, the second only about 200(in a nation of 325 million)), it didn't have a double blind experiment (experimentors bias is real, that's why they use double blind experiments), they don't fully understand the brain as is and thus trying to use brain scans as a means to read minds is well stupid to say the least (we don't have nearly enough information on how the brain process information to come to a conclusion like that (hell thirty years ago they labeled "random" neurons firing as "background noise" only to realize later how vitally important it is) etc. etc.

So yeah, that's a terrible study that hasn't been verified, claims to be able to read minds essentially despite our limited knowledge on the human brain (we have only been able to really start studying it within the past thirty years or so), doesn't remove the personal bias of those in charge of the study (and they seem to have had a clear bias to be quite frank), the sample size was small, it doesn't take into account social factors, etc. etc. So until those issues are resolved its a meaningless study which leaves us only the opinions people give, and the statistics on racial violence and the laws etc. and based upon those we don't have a tolerance issue (ironically the group that is most likely to commit hate crimes are actually blacks).

Our bodies do not have a one size fits all approach, the brain operates on multiple levels and we do not fully understand it so acting as if one can just put you in a brain scan and know what your thinking and how you feel is absolutely preposterous. Further again, their was no control (where were the people who where in a interracial relationship for instance, why where they not included in the study?), small sample size, their was no one else verifying the experiment independently (something that is currently destroying science, especially in sociology and psychology (they are notorious for having no one test those experiments to see if they hold up (it effects those the worse but it is system wide (its a bit of a crisis honestly))), etc. etc. That's a lot of problems to proclaim that 87% of people are lying hypocrits and we should presume that every one is still rabidly racist (as the doctor seems to suggest (again, no mechanism to control for his own bias (again a major issue in sociology and psychology experiments)).

What your doing is dismissing a legitimate argument, why wasn't a double blind experiment to remove the personal bias of those running the experiment? Why was the sample size so small? Why are we proclaiming its true when we don't even understand the human brain or how it works? Why are we proclaiming this as "settled" if no one has verified it (which is literally a requirement for a scientific theory, it must be REPEATABLE which hasn't happened in this scenario)? Why did they not have interracial couples included in the study as some kind of control? These are all legitimate criticisms, you are just so desperate to have every one be racist so you can proclaim yourself to be the only non racist in the world (and give yourself a hearty pat on the back for it as well), that your willing to accept anything that fits this screwed up narrative even if its highly questionable.

I mean I agree, the reconstruction was a terrible time because we allowed the racist states back into the union and with their freed slaves counting as their population it allowed them to regain control over congress which resulted in a war between the racist democrats and abolishiness republicans that lasted well into the modern era.
However that seems odd that you would blame all of a nation for the actions of a few. Are going to do that with other groups? Are all native americans monsters because their ancestors commited mass genocide? Are all Hispanics evil because their ancestors enslaved every group they could find and sacrificed men women and children, so often that its estimated they killed these enslaved people at a rate of about 20,000 a year for over three hundred years? Are we going to punish the Chinese for allowing slavery into the 20th century or the Africans for creating the slave trade or the North African and middle eastern muslims who partook in this slavery for those thousands of years and who would regularly enslave whites across the mediteranien? As for cities, what does ethnic distribution have to do with anything? their are very few poor black miners in the run down little poverty stricken towns that run all along the Appalachian mountains, and many are from germanic and/or welsh decent. Is that due to segregation? Wisconsin is decended from germanic groups that settled the region, is that due to segregation?(the answer is no). So I'm not sure what that means. I mean your examples for colleges for instance are not researched in the slightest, not only are you at a greater advantage due to more special programs to get you into schools (black women are the most likely to graduate from college then any other group), your also at an advantage in the form of admittance quotas. For instance whites get, as it pertains to being accepted into college, the equivalent of a minus 180 points on their SAT score, blacks on the other hand get a bonus 200 and Hispanics a bonus 180. That means that in order to break even a white student has to score an equivalent of 380 additional points more then a black student and 360 just to match a Hispanic student. That is in the advantage of the minority (with the exception of Asians who are also descriminated against because their are more Asian students then what their demographics "should allow"(because in Asian families and communities they are pushed to be the best students they can be).
That's all before pointing out that your literally using the term white and Caucasian as an insult (which is racist), and blaming us for everything wrong in your life (which is also racist). Also the estimated number of white supremacists and neonazi's combined, if we round up for both groups and add 500 is a whopping 10,000 white people in a nation of 220 million. i. e. next to nothing. Also blacks are more then twice as likely to commit hate crimes compared to whites so again, not really accurate portrayal of whites (and again, insanely racist (but we live in a society that despite being 63% white allows racism directed towards whites (ironic considering how oppressed you claim to be). So again, everything you stated is not accurate and clearly not researched very well.
You know who the most successful and richest groups are in the country? Indians. You know who the second richest group is? Thai. You know the third? Filipino. The fifth is jewish. Nigerian americans and ghanian americans out earn irish americans, dutch americans, native born black americans, French americans and Hispanics (they earn on average over 70,000 a year and to my knowledge the past three people who where accepted into every ivy league school where either Nigerian or Ghanian (i. e. black people). Seems strange that in a nation that oppresses minorities the most successful, the most pandered to, the ones who are never criticized, are all minorities. Its almost as if your making an excuse so that you can sit back and have some one else do all the work for you, either that or you just want an excuse to hate a group of people and to be racist and still tell yourself that your a good person. Luckily for you that is allowed in our nation (try pulling that in an African, middle eastern, Asian, or Hispanic nation and see what happens (it wouldn't be pretty), but it doesn't sound like a particularly efficient or happy way to live.
