I'm only liberal when it comes to helping poor people. Like health care, mental institution, and housing and schooling. I see the homeless population rising. I'm conservative when comes to common sense thing like the border i think punishment should be harsher and a wall should be built. I also believe in guns.
I used to be a liberal moderate, now I’m a moderate.
One thing that did swing my personal views more conservative... is the moral decay of society that we are all witnessing with the abandonment of Christian values.

I like how people are getting dislikes (from both sides) just for saying their political standing.
I'm a middle of the road kind of guy, but if you plotted me on a scale to day I'd probably be closer to conservative not because I've changed but rather the Left Libertarian side has moved further to the Left.
On political quizzes i fall almost dead center but anything right of extreme liberal these days seems to brand someone as a nazi. Deeeefinitely going to lean more right because of it.

My personal stance is "Why bother? We're all gonna die anyways.". Seriously, no matter who is in office, they do nothing to truly help the problems that plague this country and try to force their own or another's ideas, depending on who helped them get into the white house, down our throats no matter how much we try to puke it back out.
Liberal means you like to reform and try new things. Conservative is where you like things the way they are. Reactionaries Want to go back to what they thing was the right way. Trump Supporters, who want to destroy america in general and ignore everything wrong.
What about when it comes to taxing and the military? Do you believe in high taxes to support a large military? Or do you believe in no military with no taxes?
Also would you say big government is bad as long as its not to your own beliefs?
And on my end, he is trying to force my family apart because he now destroyed Obama care. Making my brother move to Canada in order to get proper medical treatment. Because Insurance companies dont want to pay for his medicine. Even though medically, he is a hero.
The sad truth is that it won't work for everyone, they don't want to cover much of my stuff either, which is super important, but Obamacare would've left 31 million uninsured by 2031, it had to be taken down.
@polishedwingedhussar Those are mostly anecdotal definitions with a general amount of truth. Your Trump supporter evaluation is quite spot on. They're basically a bunch a bunch of fucking idiots.
In the sense of knowing who I am and not putting my wants needs and desires on other people to shoulder, guess I am conservative. I don't do politics si can only say I see better value in tradition and limiting the # of people who can impact my life.

I'm the same as you. The older and wiser I become, the more conservative I get.
@Massageman Right, There is a quote that is attributed to various people. Not sure who actually said it first, but it certainly rings true. It goes something like...
"If you are not a liberal at 20, you have no heart. If you are not a conservative at 35 you have no brain"

By the way I'm black I dont know if that matters
Your black life matters 😆🤪
At least someone thinks so
Conservative which I get a lot of flak for but o well *shrugs* I am what I am and my ideals are my own, they haven't ever changed and they never will.
I am very capable of both having an ambidextrous brain but grounding into reality makes me conservative.
I used to be a liberal moderate, now I’m a moderate.

Conservatives in the lead!!! @ Iron_man looks like this site isn't as liberal as we thought after all.
@Iron_Man
That's a good thing 👍
Look up the definitions, the ACTUAL DEFINITIONS, and then tell me if you REALLY think you're "very conservative".
Liberal means you like to reform and try new things.
Conservative is where you like things the way they are.
Reactionaries Want to go back to what they thing was the right way.
Trump Supporters, who want to destroy america in general and ignore everything wrong.
I'm far right
But on what issue?
All, the only thing is that I'm not religious
What about when it comes to taxing and the military?
Do you believe in high taxes to support a large military?
Or do you believe in no military with no taxes?
Also would you say big government is bad as long as its not to your own beliefs?
I don't believe in taxing the shit out of people, and I don't support a government becoming tyrannical
But what about Trump's enforcement of taxes on poorer people and how he is trying to enforce religious beliefs of Evangelicals?
I never said Trump was perfect
And he's helped a ton of people, including myself find employment
And on my end, he is trying to force my family apart because he now destroyed Obama care. Making my brother move to Canada in order to get proper medical treatment. Because Insurance companies dont want to pay for his medicine. Even though medically, he is a hero.

I am not saying to get ride of it
Trump is gutting it and is making it so companies an religious people (not doctors) should make medical calls
Economically and politically conservative, but socially liberal.
What does socially liberal mean? As opposed to socially conservative?
@WintersDaughter basically doesn’t care about other people doing drugs, having sex, tattoos, etc.
leftist but picked liberal in the poll since that's how i tend to vote, since my actual political stance isn't in the overton window lmao
I'm an actual liberal, meaning that by the standards of the "liberal" establishment I'm probably far-right.
Goes to show how far society has gone off the left edge!
In the sense of knowing who I am and not putting my wants needs and desires on other people to shoulder, guess I am conservative. I don't do politics si can only say I see better value in tradition and limiting the # of people who can impact my life.

Very typical life pattern. With age comes wisdom!

More conservative.
Why not use the terminology liberal and libertarian.
They are one in the same only difference is whether or not the government should regulate the economy or not
People are more familiar with liberal and conservative
It’s disingenuous, polar opposite of liberal is libertarian and conservative is progressive
Center weighted. Bonus points if anyone gets the reference.
I am a European centrist but that translates into a badass liberal in the usa...
