Prior to Trump, the world laughed at us behind our backs. Now with Trump they laugh out in the open, likely due to his overwhelming professional and classy use of the English language. The world will continue to laugh at us until "we the people" stop blindly trusting the politicians and media. We need to make it a priority to question what actually drives policies! Our government, policies and priorities need to be changed and actually decided on by the people. It isn't 1776 and don't need the electoral college. The popular vote should decide the President.
Trump or any president can't take credit for their policy changes driving economic growth within thier first term, for the most part. Trump can take credit for the growth of "blue collar" aka "goods-producing" jobs, which is on 14% of the workforce. The remaining 86% of the workforce is the service sector, which hasn't seen any growth under Trump. Overall the unemployment rate has dropped by approx. 1% since January 2017.
As for the wall being the solution to illegal immigrants, it's a waste of money! Our immigration policies and partnering with countries that have a high rate of people wanting to come to US, is what will solve illegal immigration. Considering the US was built by immigrants, immigration decisions shouldn't take years. Otherwise, maybe we should all go back to our counties of origin and let the Native Americans have thier land back.
Im not going to continue listing the education, social, drug or corporate policies that need change or why we are the laugh stock of the world. We are only accountable for ourselves and until we make it a priority to educate ourselves on US policies, our country will continue to be the definition of insanity.

When people look at the morals, and values of America and then read the constitution and the history. Things don't add up. If America is about the land of the free... why were blacks enslaved and natives massacred? If America predicates on democracy then why is there not a universal health care system similar to Canada's method? Because the government and media has fooled everyone to choose sides to classify yourselves as either a Democrat or Republican supporter. Both parties have an agenda which is follow Zionism. Trump talked about locking up Hilary Clinton and you would think the president could lock away someone if Trump truly believed what she did was immoral from her past actions. Maybe there is some genuine hate amongst politicians I am not denying that but they seem pretty buddy-buddy and chummy-chummy. The reason why America is losing it's strong hold is because every empire will collapse one day. I have read from other economists that gradually the American dollar will be on the decline it won't last forever. Eventually, other countries are going to get tired of being bitched around. The left need to start focusing on the actual issues. Many of these other issues could be used in an election to challenge Trump, but double standards like "kids in cages" will backfire on the Democrats. Other things you brought up are just lies that will also backfire when swing voters start looking into the issues. Trump never had a blanket ban on Muslims. It is easily proven there was no blanket ban on Muslims. If you lie to people about that, and they find out you lied to them, then they won't trust your side anymore.
The democrats need to stick to real issues. If they want more gun control, then they can focus on that. If they are against trade tariffs, they can explain to the population why that is a bad idea for the country. With all the nonsense that you wrote you actually missed some better issues, such as the appointing of judges that aren't qualified. If democrats stuck with the facts, and not nonsense like "pro Russia" whatever that is suppose to mean, then they might actually have a chance in 2020.

There are long-term trends that climatologists look at. Weather is incidental and doesn’t always match what’s happening on a longer scale. While Trump talks about bringing jobs back to America, he has actually driven some companies out of business, caused some to leave America, and caused the loss of many jobs at many companies. His tax give aways to the rich were supposed to help the workers (according to him), but there was no trickle down (proven to not happen under Reagan) and the money was used for stock buy backs enriching the owners at the expense of stock holders. Your last sentence smacks of isolationism which has been shown to be negative and dangerous.

CEOs make more while the workers make the same. Stock prices have gone up which does not help the average worker at all. Our debt is higher than it ever has been. Deregulation is allowing companies to dump hazardous wastes that endanger our lives and environment while making the owners richer; and our product more dangerous to our consumers. The wealth of the rich increasing is not making our economy better and is actually harming our overall economy.
