With the caveat that I don't live in London, and haven't visited the place in nearly five years, I think he's been poor to appalling.

He seems far more focused on childish stunts like that Trump balloon thing, than upon keeping the streets safe. I have friends down there, and they are extremely concerned about this, as they feel he's full of virtue-signalling platitudes, and no action.

If I didn't feel like knife crime was so out of control down there, I might visit more often.

Well I'm not from London but considering that all crimes violent and otherwise have all increased substantially under him, the city itself is over crowded to the point where their sanitation system cannot keep up and its all around awful (based upon other things I have read and heard that he has done and said (he seems like quite the hypocrite), I'd say he has done a terrible job and its amazing he is still in office.

The problem with Khan is he is a small man, in stature and in purpose. He has been slow to act when action was required. Focused on transgender toilets while we have a stabbing epidemic, applied very little to no pressure on the government regarding police numbers and I could go on.

The conservatives ran a very negative campaign against him and that was partly why he won to become major of London. He was never the right man for the job and his time in office has confirmed this.

Knife crime has gone through the roof since he became mayor. I’m rooting for Shaun Bailey (Conservative) for next London mayor. He has actually grown up in one of the roughest areas of London and worked in youth centres to try and keep young people away from gangs and violence.
