I have very little to go on so I'm neutral. I was traveling during all of this and tried not to get sucked into the waste of time... im not a voter in nyc.

I'll give him a chance and I'll be supportive of nyc... because it is a lot like a rotting carcas that can infect my area.

It is good to recognize and address critical problems socially. How they are addressed may be a big issue with severe consequences. Historically, I don't like democrats thinking.

I could say very similar about others.

His policies and rhetoric so far lean negative, but if he has some strong hands guiding him wisely, maybe can turn out okish. Im trying to be positive...

Cuomo did a bad job, and he supported the lockdowns which makes him a default oppose for me. New york is a far left demographic who want socialism, now they have it on a local level. I feel bad for the people in the rural areas who always get dominated by what the city wants but for all those city people, may you get everything you voted for and may the effects of that be pure.

I'm down with NYC being the testing ground for your stuff, because your the ones living there after all. Its never been a republican area. If you have good ideas you will like what you set in motion, it will make you happy and we can all see and learn that your right. If you have bad ideas, may you experience them fully so that you learn to never vote for that again.

As a Australian who only heard of him recently, I welcome this development global politics - some may have observed in the U. S. press that "potentially he marks the beginning of a 'trial run" of how a democratic socialist could run a major city as prominent as New York City and whether any success or failure as an elected public official, could showcase a future transition from capitalism to democratic socialism successfully" - in other words, if democratic socialism produces far greater economics and socials results in the coming years of his term/s in office versus the previous capitalist officeholders of Mayor of NYC 👍🏻💙

I don't really have much of an opinion about the guy. I know his policies are a total wishlist, but I wish him the best of luck in trying to make good on his promises.

If that stuff was possible, someone would have already gotten it done.
