The votes clearly show that most people realize Trump was a mistake. They are doing everything they can to rectify his damaging policies. Newsom asked for people to stop donating to support Prop 50. There was too much money going in support of it. That's how unpopular Trump's policies are. We're looking for a blue wave in 2026 unless there are massive changes.

Eh. It is not even a midterm election. The Republican Party is still more popular nationally. Even left-wing NPR writes, "Polling shows the Democratic Party is historically unpopular, but at polling places this year voters have helped the party overperform in elections against the backdrop of President Trump's even less popular policies." And technically that isn't even true because Trump's approval ratings are higher than the Democratic Party. Democrats overperform because they are more motivated after losing.
