I use blocking someone when their opinion about me pisses me off to much, e. g. if they call me asswhipe or so only because of I have an other opinion than they have. I also use the blocking function when someone has already blocked me and I cannot write a comment there. Then why should I be able to read his/her opinion.
Sure, blocking is not communincating and is maybe leading to more hatred (not from my side, I don't hate people blocking me) and lesser a good conversation. But with some people this isn't possible because they are narrowminded about their own thing they always believe in. They won't listen and start hating you because you don't have their opinion.
But on the other hand I would never block someone because of he/she has an other opinion than me. That is very pathetic. So: Block responsible!12 Reply

What the hell does "meant your own virtue" mean, anyway? That makes no sense.
And, yes, you lost when you admitted Trump was lying about having a plan for universal healthcare. And when you couldn't come up with one reason to doubt that Trump did what he was accused of in his impeachment. And when you couldn't come up with one instance when Democrats broke precedent except in Republican-led unprecedented situations. And when you admitted Republicans were allowed in the depositions before the House committees.
You're the reason for the popularism you despise but encourage when it helps your side. - +1 y
You said every one of those things.*

Still can't stop wanting the last word without answering the question, can you? Contradict anything that's incorrect in this message, if you can.

It would be different if you were to actually answer those questions, which you don't.
Just so we're clear:
"meant your own virtue" makes no sense.

By the way, yes, I do ask other people for their opinions, because I'm not pompous enough to think that everything I say should be taken without question, especially when I'm wrong.
It can mean that, but it usually just means someone doesn't like you/your opinions and dont want to see your things in their timeline.
I have blocked hundreds of people without even interacting with them, many of them being creeps, pedophiles, way too pushy with their believes etc etc.

+1 yDepends on the situation. I mean if it's because you don't know how to reply to a point yeah. If it's because they keep Gish Galloping to try to overwhelm you with so many BS arguments, that would be a grey area. If they keep telling you that you're transphobic for not performing oral sex on a pre-op M2F transsexual on all of your posts...
*cough Rissyanne
... probably not.20 Reply You mean, if it can be? Of course. Or do you mean if it always is? Then of course not.

Fair enough. The original conversation was here: Is Trump a good president? ↗
+1 yYes. There is no need to block accounts. It'll only enrage others. One day a person will block the wrong user's account and they may seek revenge by hacking their account. You never know if the person whose account you blocked was of an experienced hacker who may want to seek revenge or not. So it's stupid to block other people's account. It shows huge defeat and those who do so are wusses.

+1 ySort of. They're bailing out because they don't want to deal with you anymore, but it's unclear whether that means they feel like they're losing or if they think you're unreasonable for something else.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yYes. It is. You block someone. You ask a question. The only person to have the answer is the one you blocked.
Rather like shooting yourself in the foot! 😂😂😂 Totally pointless!20 ReplyNo, it's like stopping the bully from continuing to be a bully and get his sadistic fix of tormenting you. It's like being the sane person to put an end to the bullshit and move on.
