I think guys wrongfully assume women's empowerment has to mean male emasculation.

Empowering women doesn't mean men have to give up their man hood, but I think some guys assume wrongfully that's what it would take.

i do not fear women having more power how ever i do fear women not letting men go after them anymore. I am happy that women are getting more jobs and our doing more i am thankful for that actually it means we get more money and it also means less women will be broke i do how ever fear the day and it will come when men and women are no longer together

I'd guess it's sometimes difficult to know what they mean by that. Especially online when it's often difficult to fully elaborate on what you're actually referring to, and you can't convey context as effectively in one comment or tweet.
If you're unsure, then reply to the comment and ask them to clarify.

Cause they r the most selfish and self esteem person those who brab about things but r good for nothing... intelligent people would always want women to be a step ahead cause they can handle a lot of your job and make your life easier and better happy

Women can be empowered as they want, provided that they pay for it themselves and stay out of my life and wallet.
I enjoy seeing empowered women alone, ignored, childless and consumed by bitterness and regret after the age of 40.

It is not a fantasy. I see it every day, especially among the increasing number of homeless women. It is unusual to see a young homeless female. Most of the homeless women are on the wrong side of 40.

Honestly i have no idea why it's so easy for guys to fall into that mindset; i was exactly like that a few years ago because it's easy to buy into the bullshit when the minority of fake feminists speak above the real; even so, I'm sure i would have liked that comment back then and i definitely would now, so i have no idea why there are four dislikes from guys, let alone anyone at all.

I think some men feel that if women are empowered than men would no longer be needed or wanted. in the past even men that were less attractive, less successful, or assholes could still find a wife because women needed men. now those men are facing life alone, and it scares them. so they lash out

When you look at the women who always carrying on about women empowerment. They are usual NOT empowered at all. Most "empowered" women, don't have to shout it from the mountain top.

Well the family courts can be very biased and on a woman’s side and judges have been known to throw out prenup agreements. Also custody wise, even if the father is fighting hard to win custody and is the best fit guardian for the child the courts have been known to turn
custody over to the mother anyway.

As long as we see women as the primary caregivers of children, then the system will favor women in some cases. I think whoever has bonded with the children the most is taken into factor, and I believe it should. I’m not saying that women should always be awarded custody. I’m in favor of men being rewarded custody too, but I believe sometimes when they think they’ve been an equal parent, they in fact have not been. I think men are starting to be more hands on with their children but I think they still have a little ways to go.

But I think that’s still not an excuse for men to hate on International Women’s Day or the whole concept of female empowered.

Well that’s a shame. Personally that’s one of the reasons I’m not having children. I just wish it wasn’t the woman being the main caregiver because that makes me personally feel like im useless and expendable, you know? Like if the woman has a bigger bond with the child (since she birthed them) then what am i here for then besides protection? Just makes me not want to have children because of that, I don’t like feeling like I’m expendable just because the mother has a deeper and bigger bond with the child than the father does... Maybe I’m looking at this wrong possibly, I don’t know but today’s parenting has messed up my view of parenting.

I don’t hate on international womens day or empowerment cause men have a holiday too, i just don’t like that their empowerment is glorified. How i see it is we should just not care about whos more empowered and we should just do what we do and not worry about things like that. Maybe im wrong but I just don’t care for glorifying things like that even glorifying men related things as well. That’s probably just me though but I personally just don’t like gender glorification and i am all for equality much more than anything else.

People can be annoyed by something without feeling threatened by it. Equality is normalization, not accentuation. Constantly talking about empowerment comes across as insecure and it inspires a feeling of pity, and it isn't a pleasant feeling.

I don't think its threatening. Its just they can't help but be rude and mean and who wants to deal with that? How come when men are empowered they try to help those around them and when women are "empowered" they just want to put people down?

They’re used to being the top dogs. So when a woman declares she wants equality, they interpret that as women wanting to become overlords. Rather telling when they’re idea of equality is subjugation.

Some men are insecure and feel threatened. Some men are simply tired of hearing about it every two seconds. These days women feel they're 1) the first ones to accomplish anything and 2) want awards for tying their own shoes.

Bc they don’t want to compete with women. Like whites during the civil war. Most didn’t have slaves, but they liked the idea of being auto above other people.

Speaking only for myself here , certainly doesn't affect me negatively at all. If anything they're slight empowerment reliefs me in various ways of being a man today. And allows more room for my own personal experience with life as I like it.

No body's forcing them to have babies or to marry a man. Women also chose not to do anything and it had something to do with gender not being a social construct but it's was hardwired in them that they let their husbands to all the dirty work since technology was kinda primitive back then and the government isn't as developed like todays society that's when men were more muscular. And you notice a lot of girls these days complain why men are getting less masculine. Technology was made better so that guys can be more relaxed and that's when girls just wanna try on everything. It has nothing to do with feminism and oppression but change. Because talk about oppression, men were oppressed too and even now. And is name calling suppose to prove you anything?

And by who? Is it only men who taught them that? Evolutionary wise, women were safe guarded so that the human race will survive since it's harder to repopulate the earth with more men than women because a man can impregnate hundreds of girls while fathering thousands of babies that's why they're always put up front and it's also women's instinct to look for men to survive until we evolved today, we still have our greatest ancestor's DNA. The arranged marriage isn't only the idea of men but also the matriarchy and women's instinct. Telling women not to do things and be safe is also the idea of other women

Maybe once upon a time it was necessary for population. But we need some serious quality control of our current population. Most people who get married and have kids don’t know who they are or what they want. They are ignorant, uneducated, inexperienced and therefore, unhappy. I can’t imagine how much worse it would have been if the demand for women’s voice hadn’t have been motioned.

But I agree a lot of women play victim like this to gain more power over men when we are somewhat equal
