Though Floyd has a bad pass the issue in this case was excessive force. Though it wasn't the direct cause, it likely expediated his heart giving out. He was on dugs, but once restrained Chauvin's knee shouldn't have been on his neck. That being said, these racist riots are certainly uncalled for. Also to assume Floyd was killed for his skin color would be racist. The media should be punished for instigating these atrocious racist riots. You either see a man killing another man or you see skin colors and you are racist.
if George Floyd was a serial he didn't deserve to die by having some idiot cop kneeling on his neck for 8 minutes since when is that the protocol... maybe he wasn't a hero but he deserved better treatment afterall his offense was only pushing a counterfeit 20$ bill which he may not have known exactly... or if he did there's a lot worse crimes than that... they should've cuffed him and carted him away... no murder.

because he was murdered horrifically on camera by several white cops that gave zero fucks - going so far to actually continue to choke him over 3 minutes after other cops could not detect a heartbeat on his wrist. it was over a $20 bill. The cop knew him personally, too - they had worked together. It was a true murder of a man that no one took action to save. This is the worst fear of many blacks. The fear of being killed at any moment by white police - them banging down the wrong door shooting, or beating the shit out of a speeder, or, in this case, ripping someone out of a car and then killing him. And it feels to them there is no action taken again those offending police... because usually there's no action.
It's a pretty big deal. you don't have to be black to be horrified by this.

Because he died. He died while NOT committing a dangerous crime, or holding a weapon or even trying to assault or get away from the cops.
He isn't a hero but still the fact that he committed some crimes doesn't make his death justified.

George Floyd isn't a hero nor deserves to be viewd as a hero by others because he isn't worthy of hero status since he did nothing be honored as a hero.
Now, in saying that, just because Mr. Floyd was a felon in his past doesn't mean he was worthy be murdered the way he was killed.
From what I read the police killed this dude without knowing his records, they just received a call about some dude trying to counterfeit money, they didn't have his fingerprint or mugshot at the ready before they arrived at the scene. His criminal record was only dug up after he's dead lol

He was a one of many victims of excessive and lethal police violence. And now all sorts of groups shift the story to push their agenda.
We have a process for dealing with violent felonious thugs and its not having police execute them in the streets. He was appropriately arrested, but that doesn't make the rest of what happened ok.
