I agree he didn't deserve to die the way he did. The guy was a total ass, the way he lived his life. The "AUTOMATIC" assumption is he was killed because he was black, because a white cop knelt on his neck. There is ZERO proof of racism here.
My next thought is WHY are these protesting assholes tearing down and defacing monuments - just because someone owned, or MIGHT have owned slaves? Ummmm... That was legal when those people lived! So which one among you have lived a perfect life and never did anything wrong? If it's wrong to HAVE owned slaves (when it was legal), how is Floyd such a martyr when his life ACTUALLY broke the law multiple times?
The other idiot AUTOMATIC assumption is that only black people were slaves. Ya wanna ask the white Irish that are descendants of slaves? Or many of the Chinese in the US that are also slave descendants? How do you think our railroads were built in the 1800's? Making slavery an issue today is total bullshit.
The real problem is a cultural one. Blacks seem to believe the lies of liberalism that say they need govt assistance for just about every part of their lives. When you believe that, you have to think you're not as good as, can't live up to, and won't amount to - anything - ever. Another freaking lie! Why is it that Asians have the highest percentage of HS graduates of ANY race in the US and blacks, the lowest? Why do blacks have the most number of single parent families (no father)? Why do blacks commit the highest percentage of crimes? Until that culture changes, don't even bother me with BLM bullshit, or kneeling, or reparations, or any other special laws - just because someone's skin color is darker than the rest.

Dave Chappelle released a great speech the other day on Instagram. He addressed this very topic. Here’s an excerpt...
“When Chappelle returned to Floyd, he slammed [conservative pundit Candace] Owens, who said she was sickened that the Minneapolis man was “held up as a martyr,” pointing to his criminal record and an autopsy report showing he had drugs in his system. Chappelle challenged Owens after she questioned why Floyd was being looked at as a hero for the black community.
“We didn’t choose him! You did,” he said. “They killed him and that wasn’t right, so he’s the guy. We’re not desperate for heroes in the black community. [Anyone] that survives this nightmare is my goddamn hero.””
Acknowledging that someone was wrongfully killed and wanting justice for it isn't "praising him". A policeman kneeled on his neck for 8+ minutes until he was dead. And just a few weeks before that we mourned for a man that was killed on a jog. And an EMT that was gunned down in her home by police. Speaking out about injustice has nothing to do with praise.
No one is praising him, no one said he was a hero for dying. People are protesting the fact that he shouldn't have died the way he did. Black people (many good law abiding citizens and some criminals or former criminals) have been unjustly killed in this country for generations and that's what everyone is fighting to end.

They're not praising George Floyd, they're mourning him though they are celebrating his life cause like most people, there were some good things about him. They're not saying he's a "hero", they're saying he's a very clear, very visible example of why the treatment of blacks needs to change. A martyr is someone who was killed for his beliefs. He's not being treated like a martyr. Have you really even been listening to what they are actually saying?
"yes I do know he was brutally murdered and didn't deserve it and he deserves justice"
Great. So why are you asking this other retarded shit, posting a stupid meme that has no sources and you have no idea if any of it is actually true, that you're clearly sharing because it just further confirms your pre-existing idiocy and bias. People like you are the reason this site, and the Internet in general, is garbage. Thanks champ for doing your part.Because his death is just a sockpuppet with no further meaning beyond that. It's not about how he died, if he was killed or simply collapsed due to his pre-existing healthconditions, him being drugged up and additional stress. It's all about the narrative of whites evil, blacks victims.
And as a result we have antifa-types trying to create a class-struggle/civil-war and a coup with black criminals using the situation to be... criminals. Thus rendering the entire situation a farce. He is not a hero. What happened was just a drop that filled the glass.
It's not even about him, it's about corrupt police officers who enjoy murdering people.
If you bothered googling his record, try googling the record of a guy that murdered him.Fits the narrative just in time for an election year. Just don't report on his pass a lot of people won't know it happened and when you tell them they will yell don't watch Fox News.
Nobody is claiming he was a good person, the problem is that in the situation where he died he was killed unjustly and it's not the first time something like this happened. Think about it this way when a white man rapes a woman or causes a mass shooting people talk about his past traumas or what he could have been. When a black man gets killed by the police unjustly they talk about all the bad things he did.
Wow. . . this is like the 12th thread on George Floyd's record.
Maybe his record doesn't matter, when he is murdered on camera.
Just sayin'.The truth: They don't really care about him, they care about their agenda, and instead of acknowledging that he wasn't such a good guy they riot.
He was killed for no reason on camera, thus exposing the bullying and racism everyone who isn't a moron has been insisting is rampant in the police force for as long as there have been police.
Hero? No. But at best an example of a police officer performing an inappropriate hold that led to the death of a civilian over $20.
George cooperated with the cops and he was extremely polite, there was nothing he did that provoke the cops into even aggression and he still died
He's not a hero not even close. If anything he is a martyr. His pass crimes don't mean anything if he paid done his time.
He knows the truth has asking this question to be controversial
The asker is playing stupidLol this joker spent 8 years of his life in the clink
Hasn’t this been asked like ten times now?
