There is a diffidence between having the right to say something and people wanting to hear it.

In Colin Kaepernick's case as a paid entertainer doing this "protest" on his employer's time for which he was being paid an enormous amount boiled down to a kind of thief.

No you don't get to go off script when your paid to be on script.

The other problem with Colin's protest for which his own script became disagreeable to his employer's audience is the simple fact that it made no sense.

Colin was blaming all of America for at best the abuses of a few local city, which America has no control of.

Freedom of speech is important. But when an individual is part of a team, they are no longer speaking as an individual, they are speaking for their team. And that is wrong... Kaepernick's team thinks it's disrespectful to not stand for the national anthem.

You can be for freedom of speech and still not like what people say. I don't like that he does that, but I would still die for his right to do it.
