+1 yIf you would actually do some research you would know that the slave trade was far more bigger and brutal when the Europeans came to settle on indigenous land. The native Americans did not have the same idea of slavery as the Europeans had. They were very different concepts. The reason why slavery is so centered on America is because they introduced a new type of Slavery and they made it one of the largest economic industries. American black owned slaves became one of the largest industries and America profited greatly off of that. The way black people were treated was very inhuman and disturbing. I also don’t understand why you saying white people are a target because they are not. I’ve never experienced anything of the sort or seen anything like that. Having a victim mentality only makes you more clueless to the situation around you.

Native Americans did take captives but mostly young children and women and killed the adults. But this was in the early days before white men spread. Indians warred with other tribes all the time.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yBecause to target any other would be going against the narrative put out by The Intersectional/Identitarian crowd are activly are breaking the populous into tribes, Black, Asian, White etc. So they can face one off against the other. Native Americans held slaves along the lines of war trophies, Blacks have also held slaves in America more so than whites,
I have to wonder how would people react if we could track back those involved in BLM to their African roots and prove that their tribe and family were involved in the slave trade on the African Continent long before any of the 'White Slave Traders' where even born let alone traded or influenced slavery, it is a case of two standards which BLM and other anti slavery groups choose to ignore as it doesn't fit their victim narrative.01 Reply
Asker+1 yThat's a very good point. If we go back far enough, all of our ancestors are barbaric, that was the way things were. I just have a hard time understanding why somebody could hate another person who had nothing to do with oppressing others when slavery still exists today, more commonly in the form of sex trafficking
People of all races owned slaves - whites, blacks, arabs, mongols, jews.
The reason white people are the target is because it's a way for minorities to gain power, through victimhood. In our culture today the way most people gain power is through playing victim olympics, whoever is the biggest victim wins.
That's why when you mention the above fact they'll do all they can to argue that white enslavement of black people was worse than the others, to hold onto that victimhood narrative.10 Reply

the historic slave owning white families that were rich in the 1800s... many of them are STILL well established.
native americans? Well... they're the only race doing worse than the blacks. they live in awful reservations, poor access to healthcare and education, high substance abuse rates... yea what exactly are you going to continue to take from them? We as a nation already took everything.21 Reply
Asker+1 yand how are Indian casinos helping out their own culture? They give little profit to the community, pocket that money and drive around and sports cars while the Indians who do not own casinos are still living in poverty.

Scandanavians at one time were massive slave traders yet they've yet to give anybody swedish meatball reparations
Asker+1 ySo should we all just kill each other for our ancestors mistakes?
- +1 y
Agreed. Let the mayhem begin
Asker+1 y@GREY-WOLF no, the problem is what was just in your statement. "You whites," as if we are all racist. Did you know that I have more minority friends than I do white friends? Did you know I grew up as a white minority? did you know I was the target of every white persons sins since I was 5 years old getting rocks thrown at me?
Now you didn't. So don't point your finger at me- +1 y
@GREY-WOLF the US is not like turkey where minorities are discriminated against
Asker+1 y@GREY-WOLF so how can you speak for America when you're not even from here? Or my guess is that you're just looking at the news and believing everything you hear.

Stop being a racist.
It's very unbecoming.26 Reply
Asker+1 yI'm not sure how bringing up another side of the argument makes me racist. Wasn't it black Africans who sold out their own people? Are they not just as guilty as the white slave owners?

Thank you for reiterating my point.
This is your logic:
Bob Smith murders Bill Jones.
The District Attorney is prosecuting Bob for the murder of Bill Jones.
You reply: "But Adolph Hitler committed murder! Why isn't the DA prosecuting Hitler?"
Because Bob Smith killed Bill Jones and the District Attorney stays focused on the crime and who did it. He is interested in other crimes. He is interested in the crime at hand.
Learn logic.
Learn how the law works.
Stay focused and not be a dupe.

Do you understand about the above analogy?
No one is debating Hitler's crimes but Hitler's crimes are irrelevant to the crimes that Bob Smith committed. Whether or not Hitler committed crimes plays no part in Bob Smith's crimes.
And Africans selling other Africans as slaves is irrelevant to whites purchasing them as slaves.
Native Americans having slaves is irrelevant to whites purchasing slaves.
Bottom line: Whites purchased black slaves from Africa and, in the intervening 400 years, there has been systemic racism against those slaves and their descendants. That has to end. Period.
Asker+1 yActually, you just proved my point. Bob Smith is on trial, not every guy named Bob. So why is every white person on trial when it was a very small percentage who owned slaves?
In regards to slave owners being more responsible than slave sellers, how would you explain sex trafficking? Do you think the John such as Epstein are more guilty than the people who sold him the girls?

+1 yAll races at some point have had slaves.
What i struggle with is why the focus is on the crimes from 200 years ago when slavery still exists today. Low estimates suggest 20million modern day slaves (maybe as high as 50million). Wheres the public outcry? Sure its not legal as ut was before, but isn't that worse? As a society we know its wrong yet still let millions of people suffer this way10 Reply - 794 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.

Do some fucking research, lady. Americans made slavery one of the country's largest industries. Slavery was the economic engine of the United States. Then when slavery ended all efforts were made to marginalize black Americans so they couldn't vote, couldn't prosper.10 Reply 4.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Because now the land belongs to us and the people constantly bringing up slavery don't actually care much about it because they never experienced it and are just looking for an excuse to commit acts of violence against us.
