please comment if you agree or disagree with me and why or if there is an important peice of information I left out. but I believe what I've read that Africans captured enemy tribes breaking their spirits turning them slaves then selling them off instead of killing them. Arabs also bought slaves and other Africans owned slaves. I think most Africans have a need to blame others instead of themselves. political correctness has made it hard for white people to defend themselves against POC accusations. This has both produced and weaponized white guilt. This must stop before resentment builds into war or a need to fight for survival.

Western powers today are dominated by people on the top who are White, that's the cold hard facts. That connection and mindset traces back to colonialism in Europe and the Americas. Obviously, if we look beyond that in history, there have been oppressors of different races and religions. Therefore, I am not going to say White people are the end all, be all of slavery. Other sects/groups that are non-white are guilty of oppression/slavery to.

I guess in today's times it is more recognized because we focus more on modern day era. However, this is not something that just happened 50 years ago. It has lasted for centuries and centuries of White power and slavery. Today, the geopolitical landscape is dominated by western culture, where governments in the Middle East or Africa and other countries bend over to these western powers and allow oppression to take place. An example is the Yemen issue or Syria issue or Iraq issue. All of those governments are sell outs. Leaders in those countries benefitted themselves and not helping the people. They made deals with the United States and Britain and western allies to cause devastation and White wash or "westernize" those other nations and have them get rid of their traditions and values, I have an issue with that.

ISIS for example do not represent Islam, they are paid mercenaries that came from different parts of Europe, Saudi Arabia and other area, to kill, destroy and get paid. A mercenary has no allegiance to a country or religion. The US paid terrorists to do the dirty work as a part of colonialism. If people read this and want to give my comment a thumbs down, be my guest. But it will indicate people are still living under a rock 20 years later. When I grew up, in elementary school, Christopher Columbus was viewed as an "explorer", a noble, helpful man. By the time I went to university, and there a plenty of books that illustrate he was a warmonger, he killed and enslaved people for himself and European purposes. I truly hope ideologies and political structures and even the royal families collapse one day.

The problem is the 400 years of laws and racial injustices put in place to keep black people down that makes it a problem here in America and the fact that many white people won't even acknowledge it, and pretend what we are pointing out is about slavery, when it is in fact that for hundreds of years after slavery we weren't allowed the same education, and weren't allowed to eat, work, live in the same way as white people.

Or that when black owned cities were proven successful white people raided bombed and killed the entire city as a warning to other blacks not to forget there place.

It wasn't until the 1990's that some of these laws were overtuned.

Blacks and Arabs do not have the institutions of slavery or legacy that Whites created. In fact there were even MARKETS for half white slaves on Victorian records. These were the product of white masters raping their slaves and selling those "prettier kids" into prostitution slavery, for a bigger profit on their slaves.

In the USA there are records of plantation owners forcing interbreeding of slave families to make a profit on their slaves. Even today in the USA a lot of genetic and behavioural issues around Blacks are due to what was forced onto them by White slavers.

The reason the election of Trump fucked everything up, was Trump and his far right backers trying to dismiss and belittle slaver history. There are still records held by former colonial nations which have not been declassified from them. Mainly around what was done to Blacks, slaves and natives by their colonial overlords back then.

You’re spot on. Many nations and peoples made slaves of their conquered foes throughout history. Roman slavery was in many cases far worse than what African slaves experienced.

It’s because they want to blame everyone else for their poor choices. I’m not saying blacks have always been treated fairly in America. On the contrary. What I am saying is we’re all responsible for our choices. Blaming the government and white people for the problems blacks experience in 2022 is outrageous.

I want free money for my white ancestors who fought to end slavery. I have 3 of them. If blacks think they should get reparations for what happened to their ancestors I want to be rewarded for what my ancestors did.

Don’t know much about slavery, but many Black people were and are racist to Whites. When an albino kid was born to a Black family, they just abandoned Her/Him. Throught history there have been slaves of all races and creeds, there still are. There are more slaves in the world today then at the peak of the slave trade we talk about.
I'd like to see the people asking for reparations take a DNA test and trace their family roots. How many would have a liniage from a slave owner, where they've sired children with their slaves? If you're decended from a slave owner you should be paying reparations?
