Why are all white people blamed by liberals for slavery?

Ireland was enslaved by England, Italy enslaved by North Africa, Ukraine invaded by Russia. people (liberals anyway) always blame white people, why do they not isolate it to the real people, British, French, Spain.

Hey genius, white people ARE liberals, along with many other "colors" of people. Liberal thinkers, unlike their conservative counterparts, are smart enough to know that white folks have been enslavers, and also that enslavers have come in all colors and races throughout history. If you're from the USA, it was specifically white folk who did the enslaving here. Liberals aren't THREATENED by that fact; Conservatives ARE.

It's because Conservatives are threatened by acknowledging the real history of the USA is not so great, that they make up bullshit about it and re-write it. The very same argument they use if they feel personally attacked, which is " It wasn't me. I didn't do it, it wasn't even MY ancestors because they didn't get here until 1900", is the same one they refuse to use simply to acknowledge that it was done.

Since Conservatives can't face up to the fact that "someone's direct ancestor" was a slave plantation owner and/or importer of slaves, they change the discussion to "why do liberals hate white people". They refuse to realize that NO ONE is BLAMING YOU because your great, great, great, great granddaddy owned slaves, you're just being asked to recognize that it was a bad thing AND that it really was done by someone, perhaps, in your own family tree!

Point is, that's a fact, and Conservatives definitely do not like facts.

If you care to do a discourse on which group of white people were never, ever enslavers in the history of the world, go ahead and present your research, backed up by facts. If you live in America, white people are definitely blamed for slavery. All of white people. And I would check your history, all of those countries were either ruled or enslaved, for God's sake, Ukraine used to be called the Soviet Union! Why should those countries be blamed the sins of Britain?

There constitution isn't standing. Our country is fairly new in the grand scheme of things but our government is now one of the oldest standing. If you believe in American exceptionalism you have to correct the mistakes of the past.

Let's put it this way. Something was stolen from the United States of America government in 1800 and it was found today. The government would claim that property back and charge you for having stolen property. Even after 200 years.

So in the same way if the United States of America government made a law or decree but didn't upheld, it should make efforts to uphold said decrees.
