I've had two kinds of experiences with two kinds of white people as an African American male. One with white conservatives & one with white liberals. The arguments with white conservatives go like this: Step 1. Points of view exchanged Step 2. Opening arguments Step 3. Facts presented Step 4. I ignore them Step 5. We end on good terms because we're still grown men at the end of the day & this is how men behave.
Conversation with white liberals:
Step 1. Points of view exchanged Step 2. I provide data to back up what I said Step 3. I ask them if they even looked at the evidence because they claim it isn't true Step 4. They call me a n** and claim I deserve it because I'm siding with the bad racist people.
Why are liberals so racist?
Now, I know you must be asking yourself why I haven't mentioned the alt- Right and how racist they are so I will tell you children.
The alt- Right is an extremist group and I would not equate them with the average white conservatives buying instant blueberry pancakes in a bottle from Krogers market.
He is absolutely correct, though. The truth is, liberals/leftists in the west are made up of middle class, white, millennials who don't actually give a shit about the rights of minorities. Well, unless that minority is a liberal, of course... Because when a black person, for example, has conservative views and thinks for themselves, the liberals suddenly lose their supposed 'racial tolerance' for black people and that black person to them is just a sellout, Uncle Tom, white apologist for thinking for himself and not following what the white leftists agenda wants them to follow.
They they pretend care about the minorities so that they can gain their votes! Because if they don't have their votes, there will never be any liberal/leftist politician voted in again.

Yes AND the liberals were ATTACKING Ben Carson when he came out as Republican. I'm sorry but isn't that racist. "He's black, he should be a Democrat." That's judging him based on the color of his skin. I'm a conservative Hispanic female and people are always attacking me for my beliefs "you're a woman you're Hispanic, you can't be on their side". I'm not saying SOME conservatives aren't racist but I think Liberals are even MORE racist but they pretend that they're not.
I see your point and I'm really a centrist by nature but the policies of the left actively hurt black people. I remembering speaking with a young liberal woman about how blacks did better when they had more conservative values. I told her that a black child was more likely to be born into marriage than a white child between the late 19th and early 20th century and she just flat out said "that isn't true" almost like she didn't want it to be.
I am a conservative female and White/Hispanic ( I look more white because my dad is white and mom is latina) millennial, you have no idea how often I am harassed by liberals who most of the time are WHITE. They get offended over everything. There is no coherent argument with them; all it is, "that's offensive and racist and sexist and homophobic" "you appropriated my culture" So hypocritical, because they make EVERYTHING about race and victimize everybody to brainwash people into their side. They use feelings to manipulate people. Look segregation and slavery was bad but don't punish me and yell at me when I wasn't even born during those times. I never owned a slave, I never hurt a person of color. My black friends HATED Hilary Clinton.
I supported Ben Carson in the election and people got mad and questioned his black hood. I'm sorry, but racial grouping IS RACIST. Calling a Haitian: African American is insulting to those not from Africa. And in general it is a form of SEGREGATION, by divining things by race.
Segregation wasn't bad at all for black people because ironically we did better when separate. I think we got too caught up in wanting EVERY possible right even when it wasn't beneficial.
You think Segregation was a better time? I've never heard any one say that, then again I wasn't there to live through it and I'm not black so I would never know. The thing is I love people like MLK JR because when he fought for civil rights it was for good reason, he really wanted all races to live together and have equal opportunities. He didn't want people to live on welfare, he was always encouraging hard work.
He did have second thoughts in the end though. He accomplished the integration right as the economy was doing poor and subsequently the black/black economy tanked because blacks wanted to sit at the table with the privileged whites more and black business owners slowly shut down.
I am liberal and have never called anyone the N word over a difference of views. So where are these white conservatives buying instant blueberry pancakes in a bottle from Krogers market who are reasonable people to talk to? My brother in law is one these people and admittedly I was a little hurt when he removed me on Facebook. I would like to talk to one of these white conservatives because I do have conservative views, and we can drink the good whiskey I got when I was in Scotland.
I understand racism is a huge thing in America at the moment and definitely see it with conservatives and the alt-right etc towards african-americans but liberals usually seem to HATE racism except to themselves as they are race-apologists who think they still need to pay nowadays for slavery, colonialism etc
The idea of conservatives being more racist is a myth. Those accusations have been thrown around for years, but it's nothing more than accusations with no proof that it's true. Not once have I seen anyone present proof, decent evidence, or even given a logical argument that it's true. But if the accusation gets thrown around enough, then people start believing it.
Well there are definitely racist conservatives. There are racists in every demographic. But I think there are a lot more in groups that vote Democrat. Just look at demographics like urban vs suburban. Or blue collar vs white collar. The most racist demographics are the same ones that vote heavily Democrat.
Exactly. Liberals are big ass hypocrites. Like if they really wanted to fix the water in flint then just tell Michael Moore & Bill Maher to rent a house there and use social media everyday to show how dirty the water is and the bad publicity would have the problem fixed fast.
As someone who lives outside the US I think this is true. As one pink anon said, liberals tend to judge people based on there race, sexuality and gender, rather than just individuals. So if Bob did something bad/good , they will say " Bob, a black man...". Its almost like they are trying hard not to be racist, but they are actually being racist.

Because they believe black people are victims who can't help themselves because of muh racism and thus they need the white man's help to make it anywhere in society as they believe black people can't handle it on their own.
This is true, I feel liberals are huge hypocrites because they only use minorities to gain votes and support because there's proof that they don't ACTUALLY care. They victimize people of color or by sexual orientation. If you notice, liberals almost ALWAYS bring race into an argument even if the fight isn't about color. "That's just because you're racist" etc. and it's usually WHITE people telling other white people they're racist.
