How would you design a prison?

My prison would have 4 sets of walls surrounding the prison. The height of the walls (starting from inner layer and going out) would be 25, 35, 50 and 75 feet high. The height designs are so the tops of the walls stack in a manner where it is easy to place guards at the top of each wall and to shoot down prisoners who reach the tops of the walls. Each wall would have razor wire with electricity running through them, except where the guards would stand. Within the center of the prison would be the murderers, rapists, pedophiles, kidnappers and sexual predators. Between the first and 2nd wall would be serious felons, domestic violence suspects and those who hurt animals. Between the 2nd and third walls would be those who commit less serious felonies, DUIs and Assaults. Between the third and fourth walls would be the minor offenses and the visitor areas. The entire prison would be a pentagon shape. Traveling between the levels would be a pain in the ass because there would not be one hallway that allows a straight path through all walls. You could only get from one wall to the next, then have to find the hall that connects to the next one.

It's so open ended... But simply allowing for only one half room per prisoner with a hard in the walls for social communication. Because prisoners don't always get along... Killing or simply hogging resources can result. However, that would take additional cost and resources to do... But angles could also be important to make sure as much was clearly viable in the prison as possible so you can avoid prisoners hiding something. Those are two of my ideas anyway

Large yard for outside time, single cells with possible (plastic) windows on either side so you can communicate with your neighbors during times being in a cell is mandatory. A small variety of job sign ups with rotating shifts and decent pay that goes into an account either for when they’re released or for supplies they need. Addiction meetings and counselors/psychologists on hand at any time for those who want/need to use them. Though if their sentence was due to a substance problem or seen as something they need psychological examination and care for then there would be a set amount of mandatory visits to whichever they need.

No socializing. They would get a decent meal, bedding and toiletry, but there would be no lifting weights together, eating in the cafeteria together, or fighting in prison. It would be tight security and no sneaking in cell phones/drugs. I’d give them a giant encyclopedia or something with like 500 pages. They get no tv, no other books or nada. Just rereading that same big book for as long as theyre in jail

If the person was married I'd allow them to have some private space to have sex with their spouse.

I'd also sort it from having people who are murders with those who committed tax fraud.

I'd also weed out domineering personality types from being prison wardens.

Prison with indoor education, professions, play ground, business, construction jobs all for government commerce and services without payment but with maximum future benefits, you can get married within there, can have family if you are imprisonment for lifetime.

I would design it like a warehouse
Big and open, with tons of bunk beds

It would be placed by a mine, factory or field, then the prisoners would have to work at that place for 12 hours a day 7 days a week

I believe lot prisons should have no more than 10 prisoners on each floor and the prison should be built to have 10 floors with 10 prisoners on each one

There would be no cable TV in my prison that is for sure. Also no weights in gym either. They would be under fed and be chained all day. I would make it hard on them and once you got out , you would never want to come back.

Lot of euro nations have prisons like isolated cabins. They’re required to support themselves and learn new skills. They also have the lowest levels of crimes and recidivism.

Gaint hole in the ground then i would only provide the prisoners with water all the drugs and weapons the police confiscated and a lighter

All the cells are 1x1 isolation cells, you lean against a wall and you get noise feedback, for 16 hours a day. Prison is supposed to be a punishment.
