I guess some take things too far. The proper way to go about it is equal opportunity but understand that there are gender differences. If a woman wants to be an engineer by all means go for it and they shouldn’t feel unwelcome or be ostracized for it, but if they are “under represented” in the field because it just so happens that women tend to not want to become engineers, then so be it. And I think most liberals feel the same way, you are talking about social justice warriors who are only a small proportion of the liberal base.

Because they don’t practice what they preach. If they did, the whole world would be on their side. They don’t realize what equality means; if they did, they wouldn’t encourage an anti-white/anti-male rhetoric. The Black community would say “We’re as valuable as White people”, not “White people are inherently racist and oppressive!”
